Love the Size and Quietness. Does as Intended!
I recently purchased this pump and it works well. I love how quiet it is and the size. I originally bought another pump, but it was too loud and big for the space I needed it in. The only add ons I would suggest for this pump is more pressure on the water transfer and an off/on button, but overall it works well and does as intended to do. Overall, I'm pleased.

Garbage Save Your $$
This pump does not work. Constantly looses its prime. Not sure what it would be good for but certainly not as advertised. Garbage Junk Trash waist of money!!! Outside the return window....how convenient so now stuck with a boat anchor.10/25/24 follow up. The supplier sent this email on 10/19/24 "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase. If you would like a full refund: please reply 'Full refund'. We hope that you give us another chance. Thank you very much" I responded "FULL REFUND" and no further communication from them.

Great budget wort pump
Simple, budget friendly chugger style pump. Moves wort well, assuming it is plumbed in correctly!I bought this to circulate wort through a chiller, recirculating in the tun and transferring to the fermentor. After receiving the pump I immediately disassembled the pump head. The head is metal, so that is nice, but the machining is rough and could probably do with some cleanup. I didn't notice any metal particles left over but I thoroughly cleaned and rinsed the head prior to use in case there were shavings or machining oil.The instructions say it should be at least one foot lower than the outlet of the vessel, but I think I am closer to 9-10 inches and it does fine.I've recirculated starting with almost boiling wort for a few hours at a time, and I've even tortured it using a prefilter that got clogged and it still works (mental note, always put restrictions AFTER the pump, not before).

Slow
it is a nice quiet pop, although has no head pressure or suction at all it must be laid flat from one bucket to the next bucket other words it will not work right and very, very slow.

SO FAR SO GOOD. VERY QUIET.
The media could not be loaded. Price was right, and the on/off switch is a nice feature. It runs very quiet - so quiet that you almost don't hear it. Transfer rate is around 5 gallons a minute, which lets me transfer an entire 53 gallon barrel in under 15 minutes. So far I transferred about 400+ gallons with it (200+ gallons out of four barrels, and 200+ gallons back in) and it's working well. Only time will tell how long it'll last, but for the price I can't complain.

QUIET & gets the job done!
The media could not be loaded. **Edit (4/12/2021). I bought another one of these pumps 2 years later for a counterflow chiller setup. It works fine, but it's nowhere near as quiet as the first pump I bought. I wonder if they changed manufacturers? Just thought it would be nice to know. Cheers.---------------------------------------------------------------------------I used this pump for the first time today. I’m well acquainted with the traditional March pumps and WOW, this thing is freakin’ QUIET compared to them. Reminds me of the RipTide pump I use for a chiller (though this isn’t nearly as powerful, not as many features, etc).I love that it comes with a stainless steel head. You’ll have to add your own valve(s) & accessories. The idea was to use this pump to recirculate (vorlauf) my mash for the last 10mins, and it worked great doing so! No problems at all (see video).I’m impressed given the reasonable price. I’ll update this review if anything changes. Cheers!
