42 inch Dog Crate Furniture with Full Board Top

We upgraded to this crate after our dogs learned to escape from their wire crate. It seems pretty escape proof and much sturdier than our old crate due to the thicker bars. The front latches also have spots to put snaps across to keep the front doors closed and the front doors open fully and flat against the front of the crate so you won't bash your leg on an ajar door if you decide to leave it open. I like how it blends with our furniture so it isn't as much of an eyesore. Only downside in my opinion is the open slatted flooring because I worry about toes getting stuck in the slats but this is fixed by a board or snug fitting bed. It was easy to assemble and the dogs seem pretty comfortable in it.

It is a very lovely sturdy “ doggie bedroom “. Very nice looking in the living room. That way our lab can be where th e action is.. we put in a couple of.cushions for his comfort… I plan to get a board to place over slatted bottom.. bottom is very sturdy metal but he’s well trained so I’m not worried about unpleasant stuff on the bottom. It is large enough for out big Labrador…… not easy to find a crate big enough that is not an eyesore in the living room. Locks are sturdy and the double door make access very easy to clean..it’s big enough for our pup to stretch out and heavy enough so he won’t tip it over when excited. But… putting it together isn’t as much of a breeze as advertised ( 1person less than 20 minutes)..it took two of us 3 hours to assemble it.. but we’re pleased.. we didn’t put the wheels on it so it needs some floor glides so flooring won’t be damaged.. it would have been nice if they were included as an option. It’s already quite tall and the wheels make it even taller… it is not an end table. It’s is more if a dresser size.. measure your room.. it is quite heavy and you wouldn’t want to have to return it.

Love this kennel. My Dogo Argentino is very comfortable in it. I love the solid wooden top, makes it look less like a cage and more like a den for the doggos. They choose to go in to relax. The welding seems to be good too. I’m not having issues with the fooor slats bending or coming unwelded like I did with similar style kennels. Time will tell if that holds true.

This took about 20 minutes to put together. Hardware and tools are included, even has some extra parts that come with. All 4 wheels lock. The pup and I are very happy with it

The bolts for the top part were very difficult to tighten because you have to get in the kennel and they are so close to edge that there really isn’t a standard tool that can do a full rotation

After my growing Labrador broke free of a cheaper dog crate i had bought, I decided to purchase this one. It is large and sturdy. I have left my dog, for an hour, in this crate and he wasn't able to break out. It is stylish too.
