I should have looked closer. The description images are so close that I thought this was a great deal on Kerdi membrane. The installation images even show a dude clearly installing KERDI brand products, but this is a made in China knock off. This stuff might work fine, but why risk tens of thousands of dollars in repairs from a leaking shower?? I am returning and ordering some Schluter KERDI. Another $50 is way better than rotten framing and mold down the road. I give three stars because it looks like it would probably function like other membranes

Product as described. Hardware store quality at a better price. Smart to add this to your bathroom or other wet work.

I needed the DITRA product that insulates Tile fron cracjs that can develop in the underlying concrete. This product is for WATERPROOFING. That is not what I needed.

It certainly can hold painting and make two layers of waterproof coating at the corner.
