Rimmel Insta Contour Duo Stick, Light, 0.28 Ounce

This is the first time I do contouring after I decided to upgrade my makeup and learn new techniques. I saw the review for this on Youtube and it seemed easy to use and exactly the effect I wanted. The 2 colors are amazing and make such a huge difference, especially to my nose. It is smooth and blends in great. The color is also perfect for my fair to light skin. I like it a lot.

So, I don't write reviews. I am an almost 40 year old, don't do much outside the basics in the make-up world, but wanted to learn a little contouring; I didn't want to spend "real money" on a contour stick, until I knew if I could/would get it the idea and apply it. I love this stick! So far, I am only using the lightest side under my eyes and using a blender sponge and it is magic. It works way better than any concealer I have ever used (and I have used high end make-up from Nordstrom the last 15 years). I would highly recommend.

The fair shade is not a contour shade. At best, it's a neutral leaning bronzer. It blended fine but i was hoping to use it, primarily, as a nose contour and it's not great for that. The tip shape is also a bit to sharp for contouring.

This product blends easily with a damp beauty sponge however, I took a star off because if you use a brush to blend it, it wipes off your foundation. :( It also leaves the skin feeling a little tacky unless powder is applied over top of it. With that being said, the product fits fair skin tones beautifully, lasts all day, and doesn't make your face appear dirty. The highlight color has a opalescent finish to it that is good for the cheekbones, cupid's bow, and even the collarbone. Down side is if you are trying to bring light to certain parts of your face, without the look of shimmer, it wouldn't be for you. I think it would be great to use as a beginner, but just be aware of the texture and finish of the colors.

Love it! It is so creamy and the perfect shade for my pale skin. The highlighter is really only that, not a concealer but still great. I have had such a hard time contouring my cheeks and making it look natural but I think I have finally found the magic product. Great value too

I've got this stick is light colour. It blends very easily and becomes almost invisible on the face. I haven't used contouring before, so I was looking for something lite and easy to apply, and this stick is good for that.

Prima volta che compro questo prodotto che come sempre è arrivato nei tempi previsti da Amazon. L'articolo che ho scelto è quello più chiaro adatto alla mia carnagione. Il tutto è arrivato ben sigillato, senza alcun accenno ad eventuali aperture e usi da parte di terzi. Quindi ottimo. Ne ho fatto un rapido test sulla mano per vedere com'era la durezza e se si sfumava bene. E devo dire che per questo sembra valido, ho tracciato una riga con la parte più scura e la scrivenza non è pesante ma giusta, non si scioglie facilmente ma non è nemmeno dura da dover scalfire la pelle. Sono riuscita a sfumarlo facilmente con le dita e sul mio incarnato molto chiaro è risultato naturale per dar una parvenza di ombra. Il lato chiaro, illuminante, stessa consistenza nello stenderlo , devo dire che ho provato altri illuminanti e questo devo dire che non è così evidente ma giusto per "scolpire" il viso senza apparire troppo innaturali o esagerate. Per il mio modo di truccarmi credo sia buono. E buono anche lo stick che è come un rossetto dove entrambe le punte possono essere protette semplicemente girando la piccola ghiera e hanno entrambe il cappuccio per proteggerlo da polvere e altro.

I am giving this a 4 star only because I have not tried it yet, but did apply some on the inside of my arm and it felt nice an seemed to have good coverage I also like the idea of having the duo contour instead of 2 separate items, it saves more space in my makeup bag.. and I can't wait to use it next time I do a full face of makeup.
