Got this as a gift on 4-Aug-2022.I take my Tacoma to Colorado every year to drive jeep trails, camp, and fly fish. Call it “overlanding” if you’re the fancy type.I wanted a shade/rain shelter but I don’t want to spend $500-$1,200 on a side mounted swing out awning from companies like ARB. I Surfed around and found this rain fly that didn’t have all negative reviews and for not much money, I went for it.It is very light and packs up very small in its own storage bag. I like that it comes with plenty of guy cords and even good lightweight stakes, as others have shown in their photos.I paired this with extendable tarp poles by Green Elephant from Amazon (see my photos), and they work great. Tons of ways to configure this depending on the conditions and location. I use carabiners to connect to my roof rack (my own rack design), set up the two poles, and stake it in tight with the guy cords.I will use this for an entire week in the mountains shortly, and will post an update on my final thoughts about it.BE CAREFUL! It is lightweight and will rip very easily if snagged on anything sharp. The seller has a marketing photo showing it being used as a family ground cloth, with chairs sitting on top of it at a beach or something. No way, I would attempt that with this fly.My initial impressions are very good. Hopefully it holds up. I will update after my trip.

Came packed and correct! Used it once already! For the price I’m not complaining! We will see how long she lasts for! But initial thoughts are it’s a decent basher for the price! Plenty of alli pegs and guy ropes! Made a lovely “A Frame” and “lean too” stitching seems to be reasonably strong! Cheers

I bought this to try out hammock camping and i think it will still do the job fine.The tab on the middle of the tarp is a nice feature allowing for the ridgeline to sit above.However one of the seams was not properly sewn up (as seen in the photo) so I cannot comment on how long it will last.I would have asked for a replacement but I will be needing it next week and don't want to be without so it seems I'm stuck with this one.

All tie down points are reinforced with metal and fabric which should help this tarp last a while. Water proof and nice quality material worked perfect as a wind and rain block whilst camping, plenty of cord supplied but I can see it starting to fray, will replace with paracord and I can see this being my go to tarp.
