Probably the best value for a laptop at this price on Amazon
I’ve only owned this product for a day, if anything changes I’ll update this review. So far my initial experience with this laptop has been positive overall with a few caveats. The packing it came in was IMO amateur, the box for the laptop arrived in a larger box with no surrounding package, so I’m sure the laptop box was just rattling around the larger box the entire time. Luckily though the laptop itself arrived in perfect condition. The screen is a decent ISP, it’s lacking some nicer features like OLED or HDR but it is 17.3 inches, 1440p and 165hz and as I said it looks pretty good. The keyboard is for the most part great, has a nice and satisfying mechanical click, I like the RGB options as well. the only two issues for me are the power button being a key on the keyboard which could lead to some accidental shut downs and also a lack of a number pad, however I never used numpads so it doesn’t bother me. The trackpad has been good so far, responsive and accurate and clicking feels good. The lid/screen is a bit wobbly but not too bad. The chassis and overall designs for the laptop is great imo, I can turn off the RGB keyboard and it looks like a proper laptop I wouldn’t be embarrassed to bring to work, it doesn’t have any of the flashy MSI/Alienware “l33t gamer” aesthetic at all. Battery life so far has been meh, however I haven’t fiddled with the settings very much so I can’t give a very accurate assessment as to how it holds a charge. As for the system specs, they’re great. The store page for this product is wrong by the way, it says multiple times that it only has a 256gb SSD and even says it uses integrated graphics somewhere. This is incorrect, it has a 512gb SSD and a full powered 3070ti laptop edition. I’ve stress-tested a couple games and it runs them all marvelously. I got 130 FPS on MGS V the Phantom Pain at 1440p and ultra settings. This laptop handled the just-released game Atomic Heart very well, I was getting 90-100 FPS at 1440p, DLSS quality and ultra settings. With the current discount this laptop has, I think $1500 for it is very fair and one of the best gaming laptop deals on Amazon.

Years later, still a powerhouse!
I've been using this laptop for a few years now and it's still fantastic! Most recently I ran Monster Hunter Wilds (beta test) on it and it was able to run on medium-high settings at a steady 60fps, despite at this point being several years out of date.Only thing that might be a bit of a downside on this laptop is that the power block for the charger is HUGE and very heavy. But that's likely a technical limitation and has been true on my other gaming laptops as well.

!!!!!
Does not charge the battery. No game runs (fps drop until the application closes, just open the game)
