I'm confused is this just a charging case or are the earbuds inuded. Please help

Can you listen to one earbud independently to the other whilst it is in the case? If yes can you do so with either the left or right bud?

How well does the active noise cancelling work on a plane?

Not very well. Certainly doesn’t drown out cabin announcements or the noise on a Boeing 737 so have to have them on full volume.
