A heartwarming, heart wrenching story about sisters in an untenable situation during Nazi occupation in France. Beautifully written, tightly woven, and an immersive story that’s hard to put down.

My friend suggested I read this. I binge read for 3 days - I have littles so maybe it would have been even faster! One of the best books I’ve read…ever. I passed my copy along to another friend and I’m recommending it to all!!

Draws you in from page one. As always Kristin Hannah’s writing makes you see and feel everything as if you were there. I read “The women “ before this one. Best one of her books I’ve read yet.

This book is so good that I find it hard to put down. I usually give my read books away but I think I’m keeping this one. Awesome book. I highly recommend it
