Stop your hair loss the easy way.
This is so easy to use and for an unknown reason, a piece of hair would be everywhere and after using it one time, my hair loss stopped. It has no smell and easy to use and at a reasonable price.

The price is WILD
Review for “Augustinus Bader The Hair Oil”While I love a good luxury product, I cannot get over how the price of this hair oil is wild. WILD. The ingredient lists lots and lots of oils like Vitamin E, Argon Oil, Squalene, Pomegranate oil, and Baobab oil. Although all of these are effective for good hair health, none of these ingredients justifies the high price. TFC8 is the mystery ingredient, but even that is known to be natural amino acids, vitamins, and the most generically described “synthesized molecules.” It claims to contain over 40 ingredients, which means that there cannot be much more than the tiniest bit of any one of them in this product. My skepticism is activated. However, I do appreciate that this is backed by some science at least, and isn’t the “pseudoscience of the week” trend on social media. I am less skeptical of this here than many other products I’ve heard about and tried. At least a little goes a long way to increase the moisture level of my hair. I found it best to concentrate on the ends of my hair where it is more delicate and I'd prefer increased moisture to be effective. The formula is scented, but either does not linger of I've become nose blind to the smell. While I’m glad to have this, I’ll not likely order again due to it being cost prohibitive.

Lightweight Perfection
The Augustinus Bader hair oil is fantastic! It tames my frizzy hair and leaves the curls soft with just the right amount of shine. It may seem expensive, but a little goes a long way. When the oil first comes out of its dropper it has a slight scent, but when it dries that scent goes away completely. I’ve tried other oils in the past, but they’ve all either been too heavy and oily, and/or had a fragrance. I’m happy to have found the perfect oil for my hair!

Augustinus Bader The Hair Oil - Fine oil, terrible packaging
I was really looking forward to trying this. The bottle looks so luxurious but I couldn't even get the pipette to fill with oil. The button would barely bring anything up. I had to tip some of the oil out onto my hand, which just seems really wasteful considering how pricey this is. The oil itself is lightweight compared to some other hair oils I've tried. Once it was evenly coated on my hands, I ran it through my hair. It did make my ends look sleek and helped with some (not all) of my frizz. By the end of the day, my hair still felt soft but wasn't as shiny. It didn't have any fragrance that I should smell but it did kind of smell the faintest bit stale. It wasn't enough to bother me though. I think there are better oils out there for a fraction of the price.

A little goes a long way - smells great too
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I recently ordered "Augustinus Bader The Hair Oil" for $60.00Oiliness:This hair oil is oily but doesn't leave my hair feeling oily at all. I apply to my tips and work it bottom up to my roots. A little goes a long way. Bonus - it smells great tooHair health:My hair was very dry and brittle from lots of beach trips - this oil helps mend the dry ends if used daily.Shine:I don't apply so much that I have noticed any shine, but my hair feels amazing after using it.Value for money:This stuff is pretty pricy, but a little goes a long way, so it will last months (depending on how much hair you have and how often you use it)Scent:This oil smells sooooo good.Dryness:This hair oil is oily, but doesn't leave my hair feeling oily at all. I apply my tips and work it bottom up to my roots. A little goes a long way. Overall, I have grown to love this Augustinus Bader brand and using all the products (shampoo, conditioner & this hair oil) works best! I love it and highly recommend it!

Beautiful Packaging, Decent Results, But Definitely Not a Game-Changer
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked up Augustinus Bader The Hair Oil because of the brand's reputation for quality, science-backed formulas, and the glowing reviews. As someone who takes my hair health seriously — especially with my natural 4B/4C curls — I was curious to see if this would live up to the hype, especially compared to some of the oils I’ve used for years.Product quality:The bottle is gorgeous — deep blue glass, sleek dropper top, very high-end feel. It looks like something you'd see in a spa or high-end salon. The oil itself has a smooth texture and a light scent that smells clean and expensive, but not overpowering.Color:It enhances my natural curl pattern a little bit and doesn’t leave a greasy residue and seems to bring out my natural texture and color.Shine:I do notice a nice, subtle shine after using it, especially when I apply it as the last step after styling.Hair health:Here’s where I was underwhelmed: while it adds shine and smoothness, I didn’t feel a huge difference in the actual health or softness of my hair over time. I’ve used richer oils that left my ends feeling nourished for days — this one feels more cosmetic than restorative.Effectiveness:It didn’t really help much with dryness or frizz, and I had to reapply more often than expected.Ease of application:The dropper makes it easy to apply in small amounts — which is key with pricier products like this. Just a few drops warmed in my hands goes a long way.Overall, it’s a nice oil if you're into luxury beauty and want something lightweight to finish your look or smooth down flyaways. But if you’re looking for deep hydration or something to really improve your hair’s condition — especially for thick, coily, or high-porosity hair — this might not be strong enough on its own. I’ll finish the bottle because it’s lovely to use, but I’m not sure I’d repurchase at this price.
