Marshmallow Peeps Yellow Chicks, 5 Chicks Per Package (Case of 24 Packages)

I imported these from the US to South Africa. I moved abroad but desperately missed this around Easter. After a 1-2 months wait for these to be cleared from a corrupt customs who searched these for drugs (I kid you not), I received them in mint condition which, as I said, is not always the case. People think that as long as you sell them before the expiration date, then you are clear, but these become stale long before their expiration date...

I got them for my hubby's sweet tooth. He said to give them a five. They were soft and fresh.

The product was stale I was extremely disappointed

I sent this to my sister because she loves the yellow peeps. They were not as fresh as those you can purchase in the local stores. She told me that when she took them out of the package, she put them in Tupperware containers, which actually helped the peeps soften some. To me, that is frustrating and shouldn't be necessary. I won't be purchasing these again. They are a bit of an embarrassment from a gift-giving perspective.
