I wasn't sure what I would get for the price and I am very pleased. We have fine particles in the pool from an above tree and this has helped us tremendously! The plastic is sturdy and the netting is tight enough that it traps the fine particles yet allowing water to flow through freely.For the price this is excellent and durable!

Works as described. Helps to keep the water clean of bugs and leaf debris.

This is the third skimmer I have bought from this manufacturer. What I like is:the extremely fine mesh. It catches everything. It is a very sturdy skimmer (I have the short handle)What I like best is:that it isn't flat. It has corner seams to create a net shape.What I don't like is:The first one lasted most of the summer. The second one did not last half the summer. The seams come unraveled leaving 4-5" holes.I bought this skimmer net and head to replace my current hole riddle one, keeping the handle as it is perfectly functional. The head arrived and does not fit the handle- the head is for a larger diameter handle. I have a short handle and it is not the same diameter. I did not see this mentioned anywhere in the description. It is from the same company I bought the last skimmer from, and looks identical to mine so I am very disappointed. BUYER BEWARE head does not fit shorter handle.

I'm very satisfied with this and it's exactly what I needed. The mesh is the finest I've seen and it catches fine debris (like the WINGS of small insects) perfectly. Because the mesh is fine, this will not work well for picking up larger stuff, it's most effective used at the surface where no more than half of the mesh is submerged. If you see something at the bottom of the pool, don't even try to pick it up with this. The fine mesh is matched with a somewhat smaller frame size to facilitate movement and again this was meant to skim, not to trawl. Thoughtful detail around the spring clip with buttons to help release it from the pole. Overall quality isn't top notch but I think it'll last long enough if used accordingly.

Fantastic fine screen skimmer and exactly what I needed. I have a small tear in one of the grids used by my in-ground pool DE filter and small stuff was making it back into my pool and spa. The stuff was too small to be picked up by the skimmer bag I use to pick up leaves and other stuff from the pool. The fine mesh on this skimmer picks that small stuff up just great.Quality seems fine. If it lasts through this summer it'll be well worth the price.

It's pretty small. I didn't look at the dimensions, but it does the job! Needed something to scoop out dog balls at the bottom of the pool, so for that, its perfect
