Snout and Shell 10 Mulberry Leaves 16-20cm (6"-8") Our mulberry leaves are air dried and untreated. They are a nice treat for shrimp, snails and other invertebrates who will quickly pounce on them once added to the aquarium. They are naturally full of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Mulberry leaves are also rich in carotenoids that aid in the molting process for invertebrates. Mulberry Leaves are very brittle and while they ship whole they are fragile and sometimes arrive cracked or broken. They also decompose at a faster rate in the aquarium compared to other leaves. They have buffering capabilities which means that as they decompose they will release tannins that will slowly lower the pH of the aquarium. These are natural products and every leaf will have slight variations that make them one of a kind. These leaves measure 6-8 inches Natural leaves and bark help create hiding spots and encourage spawning.
