FAST! Can keep up with Canon 7D 8 fps
Aint nothing going to slow you down with this baby in your camera. I have a Canon EOS-7. I got that camera because it shoots 8 frames per second. But that is the MAXIMUM it will shoot. If you have a slow memory card, you can't get that. I want what I paid for in my camera... 8 fps. This is my second one of these I'm buying. 16 Gb was the size for both of them. That is a lot of photos so you will be DEVISTATED if you lose one that is full. But it is such an expensive card that I'm not as likely to lose it... I keep my eagle eyes on it like it is made of gold. All my other cards are SanDisk, too. They are the best in every comparison study I've ever read, so I'm sticking with them. No one is faster, either. My other cards are 4 Gb, so I won't cry if I lose one that is full of photos... that is what my photo guru taught me.

Pricey, but worth it.
These aren't cheap, but they're definitely worth it - particularly if you're using high(er) level gear, taking once-in-a-lifetime shots, or just want/need some dependability. I'll leave the hard-core techie evaluations to others, but I will say I've used mine in the mountains of Montana to the South China Sea. In all sorts of environments and conditions - it has held up well.I've not pushed the speed aspect of this, other than perhaps some HDR photography and some moving wildlife shots. No problems. It'll be interesting to track the price on these. They usually start dropping dramatically at some point, but not sure if that is true of the "Extreme Pro" line.Matched with a Canon 5D MarkIII. Primarily RAW images and Video.

Started failing prematurely.
First card started to fail prematurely (1 month and only 500 RAW shots) where I was unable to review RAW shots on LCD and image on computer had lines running vertically on right half of the picture. I've used several 16gb Extreme Pro with no problems but my first 32gb failed me. I have a replacement on the way from Amazon.January 21st 2014 update:4 months and several thousand shots later on the replacement card and no issues at all. Works great with my 5D Mark III and 1DX. I hope it stays this way.

SanDisk is always reliable
The 16GB is a great size for shooting RAW with my pro Canon cameras. The 90MB/second transfer rate means the buffer never fills up and I never have to wait. I shot 300 RAW dance photos in motor drive in about 5 minutes. I usually avoid the 32 or 64 GB because of expense and the possibility they will fail with a lot of my photos on it. That being said, I back up this card daily or twice a day in heavy use. For an ordinary point and shoot not shooting RAW it's way overkill. I have never lost photos from a SanDisk in many years and about 50000 photos a year. I shoot nothing else and nobody pays me to say that. Simply a superb product.

Great Performer
This card worked extremely well for about a month. I used it in a 16MP DSLR shooting RAW and it never caused my camera to pause during moderate bursts of continuous shooting due to writing lag. Downloading data to a PC using a USB 3.0 card reader seemed quite a bit faster that lower rated cards. After about a month I began having card recognition errors with it in the camera and reader, and returned it. I still give it five stars because I bought it as refurbished (my bad--never buy refurbished memory!). Amazon's return policy is great and makes taking chances with refurbed items a little less risky.

A reliable buy!
I am a fan of SanDisk Extreme Pro Compact Flash cards. I have tried some other "off" brands but always return to SanDisk. It is reliable and I have never had any problems with them. I leave for Yellowstone this weekend and bought this card to add to my collection since I shoot RAW. I was most pleased when it arrived before I left, even though the date was listed as after my departure date. I am pleased it is going with me. I have no worries in using it to do my photographing!

I absolutely love working with SanDisk Extreme Pro
Timeless. I absolutely love working with SanDisk Extreme Pro. No idea how my business survived be it's implementation. It is fast (write/read), easy, and effective. No fallouts...may two damaged in over ten years of usage ... and the problem might have been mine more than theirs.

Sandisk no problem

Fazit: TOP!

Super fast and super reliable - the card to trust
After about 10 years of digital photography, I have tried a wide range of cards, and talked to many people who have tried others. The bottom line is that the memory cards, like the tyres on your car are the one area where it is easy to cut costs, but you will always end up regretting it. I have never experienced any problem with any of the dozens of Sandisk cards I have used, nor know of anyone who has had a problem with one. I have had problems with non-Sandisk, and have witnessed colleagues and friends who have lost irreplaceable shots of children or special events.the Extreme Pro range is fast enough to be pretty much future proof and is also resistant to moisture and dust. I use these every time especially for any important shoot.
