Some time it doesn’t repeat what you say..still my son is enjoying it.

So disappointed. You cannot understand a word this bird says. This bird most definitely does not repeat what you say. No matter how slow and well you try to pronunciate your word or saying, the bird repeats back "something" very fast and it just sounds like gibberish. The gibberish does not even match up to the syllables used in the word or phrase. :(

My 3 year old only asked Santa for 1 thing. A bird. She told Santa she'd settle for a toy bird. I read the reviews but didn't think much of the negative ones because the overall average was 4/5 stars. I was wrong. It doesn't work. It doesn't talk, it doesn't even flap its wings. There's a short in it or something. If you shake it, it will turn on for a split second then stop again. We live in a small town and there is nowhere near here to find something like this. If I wanted a cheap piece of Chinese made junk, I would have ordered from Wish.com. Amazon might refund my money, but it won't be able to help my little girl's disappointment when the one thing she asked for doesn't work. It's too late to get a replacement before Christmas. That's my fault, but its a mistake I won't make again. Thanks Amazon, for letting us down.

Got this talking parrot for an elderly neighbor for her birthday in June. It was great for a couple months provided her with laughter and some entertainment. Unfortunately, the talking parrot abruptly stopped working in less than 3 months. Not all things are going to last forever no matter how well you take care of them, they are only temporary material things.

We love this toy that we got for our parrot.She loves it and will ask it if it wants some when she’s eating.It’s amazing how it records what you say or sing as well as loud background noise. It does go through a lot of AAA batteries if you leave it on.There’s no volume control but it really doesn’t need it.The parrot flaps it’s wings and bobs it’s head when it repeats what it recorded.It’s not a snuggly kind of stuffed animal but it’s entertaining! I think you could donate a bunch to nursing home residents and they’d have a blast with them.We haven’t had a problem with ours. I’ll update if anything changes.I’m going to order a spare to have on hand because both the parrot and my husband love singing and talking to it.
