The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this container for my dog that has diabetes. Previously had been using the 1 quart size you can get at CVS and mail back… But giving two shots per day fills the container so quickly. This 5 quart size will at least last 3 to 4 months.The syringes that we use for our pup’s insulin are “BD Ultra-Fine - 3/10mL - 12.7mm length needle - 30g”. With the cap on, the whole length of the syringe is approximately 4” and they fit in this container with ease.I love the mailbox-top design and securing tabs which keep the lid in place as well as the final locking tabs for when the container is full. (Just make sure you do not accidentally push those tabs down until you are actually ready to dispose of the full container.)I will be getting a wall mount box so that I can mount this underneath my kitchen sink inside the cabinet door.The only thing I found issue with was when it is not full it isn’t very steady. As you can see from the video, after putting about 20 needles in, it still doesn’t have the counterweight to keep upright, but the wall mounting case will resolve that minor problem.Other than that, excellent product, great price, SUPER fast shipping (less than 24 hours), & LOVE that I can add it to my Subscribe & Save for auto-delivery every 4 months!10/10 would recommend. Only bumped down to 4 stars overall because of the lack of counterweight... but for the price, I can look past that.

Great sharps container. Plenty of room for my diabetic pens they are bigger than the traditional needles. Will order again and love the pink color verses the traditional red.

Just 6 bucks. Container is the same size you would find in any doctors office. Plastic and quality may not be grade A, but it’s good. Was easy to put together. When it’s full, tabs Lock in place to insure safe transport to a disposal location. Grandpa only needs to inject once a week. So this should last the entire year. It’s huge. Can’t beat the price. Highly recommended.

If you take any injections, insulin, hormones, or other medications, you should really have a dedicated sharps container. In some places, any hard puncture-resistant container, like a plastic bleach bottle, is permitted. But inquisitive minds might open one to see what's rattling around on the inside. Your safely stored sharps and biohazard items are no longer safely stored. Using a proper sharps container, like this one, helps to satisfy the inquisitive mind. If the red color and biohazard stickers aren't enough, you can see contents through the translucent plastic.The mail-slot cover works nice, just drop your syringe, needle, etc. in the slot and gravity pulls it in. When it's time to seal it up, the slot securely fits in the tabs. Some municipalities will accept this as regular trash, others require special disposal.

Huge capacity, secure, mailbox-type container for used syringes. Container is estimated to hold several hundred 1-cc syringes commonly used by diabetics. Once filled to capacity proper disposal of container is highly recommended - - - attempts to reuse could be hazardous to your health.

I always thought these containers would be expensive so I never considered purchasing one - until I came across this one and saw how inexpensive it was. I have take meds with a 22g needle and standard retractable barrell. This works perfectly for that. Once the box is filled, I can dispose of the needles safely and all at once. The storage container is fairly large so I don't have to dispose of needles as often as I used to. This is helpful. I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a sharps container. I don't know what regulations are at Dr's offices, but if it can be bought off amazon, this is where to get it.
