I used this only for 1.5 year and it has stopped working. Disappointed Now because of this and I couldn't get repaired it because it's completely damaged from inside.Such products should work properly for years.

I don't think I've ever picked something up from Amazon Basics and been disappointed, and this kettle was no exception!We're very happy with it, it's functional, looks good, is easy to clean every part of, and does its job well.The only downside is that it lacks a little mesh / filter at the spout / pourer to make sure small debris or leaves or dust get filtered out. It's not that big a deal, but if it had that, it would be perfect, as the current opening is large enough for dust to get in, and since the kettle sits in an open kitchen, stuff does get in sometimes.

The plastic material is very light and feels cheap. Otherwise the kettle runs just fine.

No support on warranty , not worked more than a week

I got this kettle to replace a 5+ year old Preethi EK707 because plastic was eroding where the steam came out. I chose a glass bodied kettle because other bodies are very difficult to clean around the spout and I like to see the water boilingAt 80 cm (31.5") the lead is 25 cm (10") longer than the Preethi'sThe marked 0.5 litre minimum water fill is more water than I normally want but no harm is apparent on filling below that line. If I were choosing again, I would consider the minimum water fill of each kettleI gave three stars for value for money because I don't know if it is good or bad value for money

Spout filter is not aligned,its a manufacturing defect in design,because of this water always drip on sides.it should have been detected and tested by the quality check team and theput up for sale ,however the presence of defect means the amazon basics have no manufacturing unit and QC team.so my conclusion and suggestion is to avoid purchasing amazon basics products amazon basic is just a middle man dealer they exactly know at what price a particular product can be sold,so they put that exact price to allure buyers who are looking for discounted pricing.
