Cupcake Creations32 Count Cupcake Baking Papers (Unicorns)

Not recommended for the price
There are not many options for red plaid cupcake papers so I choose these because of making more cupcakes than pans and they can stand on their own. I followed the directions and they were not that sturdy and the cupcakes came out square or rectangular. Not worth the price for how little of papers you get.

Sturdy but, not visually appealing
They worked as far as sturdiness goes but, the cupcake batter seeped through during baking so the design wasn’t as vibrant as we wanted for this going on a display for party. But held up during baking without needed cupcake or muffin pan!

Good for color.
This is my favorite cupcake liner brand. But when baking chocolate cake, it's hard to use cupcake liners that are colored because of the dark batter, unless you double up. The color shows pretty well despite the dark batter. It says you can bake the cupcakes without a cupcake tin, but I still always use one.

Good, but not great
They are definitely a sturdier-than-average baking cup. I did not test the "no pan needed" claim, though. The light blue color pictured is true to the actual. Grease - proof? Yes, but that does not mean that they didn't turn translucent after baking. They still looked nice using white cake, but with the chocolate it was very apparent. Also, I sealed some up temporarily before frosting (so partially my own fault) and the cups pulled away from the cupcakes. The cupcakes I frosted right away and didn't seal airtight were fine.

Didn't retain shape after baking.
Very sturdy for filling and they baked evenly. However, every one pulled away from the cupcake as the cooled. Had to resort to different liners for intended cupcake design and another batch prepared.

Cute cupcake holder
These are for an upcoming birthday party for my granddaughter. They look great & will go perfect with the rest of the decor.

They are cupcake baking cups...
They are baking cups they did what they needed to do, however, the title states that they are "no cupcake/muffin pan needed". You do need one or they will expand. I ended up moving them to a pan midway through the bake because they were going to spill over.
