Dober-Man and Friends Paperback – September 11, 2008

I love dobermans and fantasy novels, so when I came across this book on Amazon, I took a chance and bought it. That turned out to be a mistake. The first thing I noticed was the poor writing. I would have thought it was written by a kid, but it says on the back that the author has been married for over 20 years, so I guess not. The characters are all one-dimensional stereotypes. The dialogue is so laughably simplistic that I was rolling my eyes all the way through. As for the plot, anyone who has seen a superhero movie or read a comic book will have no trouble predicting what happens. There is a "cliffhanger" ending, so apparently the author intends to write a sequel. I sincerely hope he completes some sort of writing class before attempting any more books.

Dober-man And Friends "IS CUTTING EDGE!" There is something for everyone in the book, it has none stop action, it has romance and skate boarding. It is about a man named Lee Austin, and he puts his life on the line to save his dog and they ultimately end up with super powers. It is unique and well written, I liked it better than any super hero book that I have ever read before! I recommend this book to everyone!

When I seen this book I had to have it I love Doberman pinschers and I had to see what it was all about, and I'm glad I did, it was well written and I think anyone who reads it will love it too, I would recommend it to all my friends, and especially anyone who loves superhero books or Doberman's, this book is for you!
