4K + Surround NOT CAPABLE
For those of you who are looking for an audio extractor to use with your UHD + 5.1 surround setup, look elsewhere. This product does NOT work as advertised. I'm running a UHD60 projector with a 7.1 surround. This was bought to allow for sending the audio across coax and sending the UHD60 signal directly to the projector. I kept finding that I could either get no sound or stereo sound only. After calling Amazon tech support, I found an immediate discrepancy. The enclosed picture was directly from the box indicating 5.1 surround with the 4K 60hz, but the Amazon tech indicated that this configuration was only 2 ch. I called the manufacturer directly to see if there were any dip switch options that might work with my configuration. The person on the phone didn't seem to fully understand the product that he was supporting, but indicated that I should return the product. I returned it and instead bought a different product from Amazon. (Orei 4K 60Hz - model HDA-925) (This product worked perfectly out of the box with no dip switching required) If you're looking to extract audio from HDMI for stereo, then this product works just fine. I will be keeping it as the amount of time I spent troubleshooting sent me past my option to return via Amazon.

Problem with using FIOS remote
While it split the signal, I loss volume control via my FIOS remote. I couldn't really fix that no matter how much I tried.

Strange audio and video mode combinations
4K@60 fps only had 5.1 output anc 4k@30fps only 2 channel stereo. Not sure who decided that is the right thing to do. Manual had many pages but no info on how to set the dip swicthes.

Hopefully it works.
Worked great for a few days, now it only works when I unplug it and plug it back in a few times. Customer service so far has been terrible. They said they'd refer me to their technical department and that was 10 days ago. I just want a replacement.

Great while it worked.
When it worked, it worked great. ARC functions worked perfectly. Then suddenly it stopped working.
