They are for late model CJ5, CJ7 and CJ8 Jeeps. They are mounted on the front grill, below the headlights. They are dual purpose/dual filament. When the vehicles headlights are turned on, these also come on and function as running/marker lamps. When the turn signals or emergency flashers are activated, they flash.

Q: I have a 79 cj7, my turn signals are shot. The bulbs rusted in there and messed the turn signals up. Will these fit without any problems?

I installed them on a 1981 CJ5 and it was just Plug it in. I had the same rust problem. the screws lined up and the plug pluged in no problems at all great fit and match
