I volunteer at a community center where the cues take a beating.These are pretty thick tips compared to what sometimes comes with the new cues. They need a little bit of roughing up with a scuffer and possibly a bit of shaping as sometimes there is a bit of a divot on top.I started replacing the "slide on" tips with these when the slide on tips were knocked loose or off. Here is what I found that seems to work pretty well when replacing a missing tip.I use super glue after flattening and smoothing the cue end (the plastic tips are concave) using a Cue Tip Sander then finishing off with 150 grit to remove the deeper scratches of the 50 grit that comes with the sander and also use the 150 grit on the bottom of the new cue tip for a smooth flat finish on both for the superglue to be most effective. I love these tips! Complete game changer! From what I can see you don't have to use cue chalk with these. I didn't have to shape them either. Very accurate shooting with them and no miscues.I will definitely order more of these when I go through the 25 I ordered.

The kids enjoy playing billiards and they stand up to their playing.

For the most part these are awesome. They play great and are super easy to install. The only problem I have is the consistency from tip to tip is not perfect. That's sorta excusable though given the price.
