I really like this little thermometer. It's fast, and has a huge temperature range. I use it for baby bath water (as the ones sold specifically for that purpose are mostly crap). This is very versatile with a good display and good long probe. Thus far, no water damage while using it in the bath (intentionally submerging only the probe, but definitely splashing all over as well is happening)

Easy to use, works like a charm.Used for both, meat, and to test tap-water temperatures, works perfectly for both!

They are water proof and so far have done the job that they need to do in my kitchen. Easy to read display,works well.

I was looking for a digital thermometer for my candle and soap making. I needed something quick to read, that could be easily cleaned, and was ready to go right away.The temperature seems to be accurate, based on the pouring of my wax melts and soap bases. It's easy to use AND comes with a backup battery, which was a nice surprise. It's sleek design also makes it easy to keep stored in the box when I need it and it seems to be a sturdy digital thermometer for the money!

Works accurately.The reason for my purchase as a non-professional cook? Well, I'm going to be using a LOT of protein powder in the future, and did you know that in hot liquids above 140 degrees F. the protein doesn't dissolve and kind of curdles? I recently learned this and had previously just figured it was the brand of protein mix! Now when I see folks leaving reviews that their protein mix clumped in their coffee...... well yeah!Now I can add protein mix (unflavored) to soups, so hooray.This is also great because as I am currently not allowed to have caffeine (ugh!) I'll be drinking a lot of decaf tea and for example, green tea has a much lower brew and steep temp than for black tea, and this temperature probe will help me get it right!I have not so far tested this with food products, only liquid, so you'll have to suss that out for yourselves.
