Great product for my cranky knees. I love that they are the perfect shape for the knees and they stick so well. Also the "minty" feeling is pretty good. You will notice it heats up like any muscle rub. If you are sensitive to that test it out to figure out if it's a good heat for you. Also be advised the patch has really good adhesion but if you wear it under jeans like I did, it may roll down a bit if you walk around a lot that day. You will also not want to just rip it off fast when you are done with it. It works great at decreasing my knee stiffness and because it is a super adhesive band aid it also acts as sort of like the sports tape and give a bit of support for the knee overall. I would recommend it for anyone with cranky knees that needs to get up and do stuff.

I purchased this product not knowing how or if it would work. I was very happy that after only one application my pain was 90% gone, on the second day I used another patch and my pain was gone 100%, but I still used another patch on day 3, which I didn't have to, and I was sorry I wasted another patch. I had given my brother a few of these patches and he was impressed with them. When my knee was injured recently I realized that I had no more, so I got the knee patches. The smell was stronger in the knee patches and the medicine was stronger, it burned a bit and I had to remove it very slowly because off the strong adhesive, but I was able to shower with it without it coming off. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank You for a great product.

They worked on my husband's knees. They provide relief more than roll-ons do and are fairly easy to apply to a specific area and hold on to that place. The only recommendation (hence four stars instead of five) I would have is to make the backing easier to separate from the patch. Good natural product that's chemical free. YAY!

I bought this for my knee because the shape of it was perfect. It does have a strong smell, and I recommend that these be kept in their original box and plastic packaging when they are not in use. I left mine out on the desk and I could smell it when I entered the room. It does work, it brought me some relief with my knee pain but the biggest thing is not leaving it on for too long. There is an instruction on the box and it should definitely be noted when applying these patches. The patches feel like a cooling burn type of sensation when applied and they shouldn't be on longer than the instruction as it can cause skin damage. It's like with any other patches, leaving them on for a long time can cause skin problems, so they should definitely be removed and shouldn't be left on overnight. Other than that, does what it does, just has a very strong smell.

Both of my husbands knees are always painful and pop n crack as he stands and walks. His knees are candidates for replacement in coming years. Both have been diagnosed bone on bone with arthritis. He is also an avid golfer playing 2-3 times per week. With braces and heavy doses of anti inflammatory needed just to complete 18 holes, it was becoming more difficult to enjoy. After we discovered these patches his first round using them went pain free! No anti inflammatory needed or taken, knees didn’t swell nor was post round heat pads needed. Now for his first round of golf, as a precaution and uncertain of results, after applying the patches, he added elastic style knee supports. For full disclosure he also has a drop foot condition that requires right foot support. The only issue he noted was the knees felt like the skin was on fire. This is likely due to the lack of air circulation caused by the knee supports. When using the patches w/o the knee supports the “overheating” affect is not present. These patches are now part of his preparation to play golf, do yard work, go shopping or anytime he will be out. I noticed in other reviews that some have mentioned and complained about the strong smell from the patches. Smells are something that can be tolerated by some but a deal breaker for others. He says that results trump smell concerns. If smells bother you more than living w/o pain then it must not be a priority to live pain-free in your daily life.

Right after I placed those patches around my knee, I felt the warm sensation but I thought it was just the "hot" effect that I'm used to with other pain relief patches. In fact, I got this because it has the heating effect. Then it started getting really HOT and to the point, painfully hot. I wore heating patches and the heat usually gives me the relief on the painful spot. But this one was getting more and more painful. Because I was in the middle of giving some medical treatments and I could not move my hands to check what was going on. After about 10-15 minutes, I was finally able to check my knee and I noticed the edges were bright red AND by that time, as you can see in my photos, my skin was literally burning! If I was doing something else that might have taken even longer for me to check the area, I don't know what could've happened to my skin. I don't know how others can wear this. Also, the descriptions says it has "a natural herbal scent." That was a reason why I decided to try this instead of getting my usual patches. All I smelled was that "typical" strong menthol smell you'd get for many pain relief patches. I absolutely NOT recommend this patch!!!

I bought these for my shoulder but happen to have a torn meniscus as well so figured it may help for that too. My shoulder was hurting so badly I couldn’t raise my arm to put my hair up. I put on a patch and by the end of the day there was absolutely no pain. I’ve been also wearing on my knee and they are amazing. It doesn’t dull the pain. It takes it away. The smell is pleasant and minty. The adhesion is great and they don’t roll up under clothes. They are easy to remove and they don’t leave a sticky residue. I just bought a second box just to make sure I keep them on hand.
