Top of the line performance at half the cost!
4PCS RV2205 2500KV RC Brushless Motor For FPV Racing Drones Multirotor Quadcopter 2CW 2CCW AOKFLYYou can tell AOKFLY used high quality parts -as usual. This is the second set of AOKFLY motors I have used (the other one was the FR2205) both are of the absolute highest quality standards. Everything from the bell, down to the windings, down to the bearings, all are of superb quality. I have mine installed onto a 210mm frame, and this thing is ridiculously powerful. A ton of low end torque, but at the same time plenty of top end speed. On a 5050 propeller (DAL Cyclone) I was able to get a max thrust rating of 1300+ grams, which puts this in the same boat as the emax RS2205S, but at half the price. The first time I armed these motors, I was blown away at how smooth it felt and sounded. These motors use Japanese NSK bearings, bearings that I’ve noticed some of the top motors using as well. Other parts that make this motor perform so well include powerful n52SH “arced” magnets. Not only are these magnets strong as heck, the arc shape allows the magnet to get as close as possible to the stator in order to achieve the highest possible performance. Another thing I have noticed on all AOKFLY motors, is the use of thicker gauge windings. What I have found is thick gauge windings are able to handle higher temperatures, thus allowing these motors to last longer.OTHER COOL FEATURES:Cooling Mechanism- if you take off the bell housing, there are little grooves that will actually pull in cooler outside air, lowering the overall temperature of the motor.Low height- this motor has one of the lowest heights out of all the motors I have tested, the only other motor that was lower is the stock futon motors, which was around 1mm shorter. The good thing about having a lower motor, is there is a lower center of gravity, as well as less rotational mass, making it easier for the bells to spin.Hollowed steel shaft- Hollowed out shafts allow for lighter weight at the same time it is incredibly durable.Hex head Retaining screw- You no longer have to mess around with a circlip, I don’t think anyone liked those things. Unless you had a specialized tool, these were incredibly difficult to remove, and reinstalling, forget about it. With these motors, you can simply use a hex head driver (1.5) and that’s it!The RV2205's are one of the best motors I have used to date. They are smooth, powerful, and constructed out of top quality material. The best part is the price, a comparable motor is priced at double what these motors cost (emax RS2205S) Similar performance, similar look, similar materials, at over double the cost. I highly recommend these motors!PROS:-Excellent power 1300g thrust on 5” prop-Excellent top speed-Low cost-Looks great-High Quality Materials-Super smooth NSK BearingsCONS:-All black nuts CW and CCW are black, so you cant tell them apart, have to install them on trial and error-motor wires should have been a little longer, they are not long enough to fit on 4in1 esc

Motor broke after only 3 flights
The motor shaft cracked mid-flight, causing damage to the quad. Subpar aluminum was used in the shafts, so it stress fractured after only 3 flights. Poor QC.

Light, Powerful and Smooooth Motors for a Great Price!
The media could not be loaded. When designing and building quads I tend to go lightweight and look for motors that offer a good balance of low weight, power and efficiency. I have a set of AOKFly 2306 2650kv which are great motors but they drain lipos too quickly for my preferences. I have found I like to stay in the 2205 2300kv-2600kv size range with 4S batteries and after reading the reviews these motors definitely caught my eye as a real viable option. The only negative comment that stuck out to me was a mention of short motor wire lengths but since I was going to be using them on a quad with arm mounted ESC's I wasn't too concerned. After receiving these motors I can definitely debunk that review. The silicone motor wires on these are plenty long enough for any of my 5" builds with a 4-in-1 ESC and could probably do up to a 7" frame with the right frame layout. These motors are very nicely built. They have a screw retainer for the bell, hollow shafts and were just under 28g on my scale. They are CW CCW threaded paired sets also. These are a dying breed nowadays. I prefer them over all CW as I never have to worry about a loose prop nut from a crash and I can use speed nuts if I want to. The only thing I will mention is that they are all black locking nuts so when you do prop changes make sure to keep track of which nut comes from which motor. I used a silver permanent marker on the CCW nuts on mine to help me know which direction each one is.I don't have a thrust test stand but I can say they easily have more power than the BGood RStar motors I have previously been using. On my first test flight running HQ 5.1x4.6x3 props they had plenty of power to push my heavier 644AUW low rider build with ease. One thing I can say for sure it these motors are smooooth! Absolutely no noise was introduced into my quad from them when I look at the Blackbox recording of my test flights.I am very happy with my purchase of these motors and feel they are an excellent choice for light weight builds and should also work well even on heavier builds based on my tests. I will definitely be getting more of these to use on future designs I am working on.

Motor Seized...
After a couple flights one of the motors siezed and I fell out of the sky. Have tried replacing escs and still didn't fix the problem.

easy to clean and magnets are very close like the ...
Kick ass motors so far and have a retaining screw instead of them c clips, easy to clean and magnets are very close like the high end ones.I had flown 20 packs through them and no troubles perform great and tight still no signs of bearing wear.Had a bad crash with them too no problems.Get them u won`t be disapointed.

Tons of power. But motor sites pull out easy. Still worth it!!
These motors produce exceptional thrust for how cheap they are!! But be careful when stripping the wire housing. They pull out easy. But to be honest I would definitely buy these again. They absolutely hammer. More thrust than my brother hobby r5's!!

great motors
Picked these up to replace the stock motors that came with my lhi210 drone and with some cyclone 5056c props these things are sweet I have some rs emax that I payed a small fortune fore and these motors are as good if not better because its less than have the price of the emax so if you are looking for a good quality motor for a fair price Aokfly hit this one out of the park great job Aokifly
