Immediately I was impressed with the sheen and beauty of the pattern before even removing this summer robe from its plastic wrapper. Its fabric was very soft at first touch, and its roses are attractively spaced in a design size I find especially attractive.Because I like extra fabric to ensure modesty when wrapping a robe, I ordered one size up from the suggested size for the desired amount of overlapping. As a result, I am most pleased with this soft, lightweight, beautiful robe. It is the perfect weight, and keeps me at a comfortable, perspiration-free temperature; therefore, I cannot comment on absorbency. There is no need under conditions here. I have a fan going in this room and am very comfortable on an August evening. There is a current outdoor temperature of 66 degrees Fahrenheit. The windows closed, and the air conditioner is not running this evening.

This robe is very soft, slightly stretchy and very comfortable. It's a great robe to put over pajamas or after a shower. However it is not absorbent at all, I didn't expect it to be, but I just wanted to make that clear, it's not that kind of bathrobe. It has the little tie inside is that really is a place very well so I just cut it out. The outer ties are sewn in the back, kind of have to really reach around to grab them. Overall though I love this robe and wear it everyday. Quality seems good. Hopefully it will last a long time.

This robe is soft, appears to be well made, and comfortable. It is too sheer to wear outside, however. I ordered a pretty floral print on a cream background. It is a wrap style; and because it is floral on a cream background, it adds pounds. Since I will only be wearing it in the house and I live alone, I'm not worried about it not flattering my body. I'm 10 lbs. overweight and this robe makes me look considerably heavier than that. I really like that the tie belt is sewn flat for about 8"-10" on in the back, giving it more style and I don't have to worry about the belt falling off the robe. Overall, I'd recommend it for wear in warm climates, like Florida.

When I tell you I read these reviews like I was buying a car...So first thing's first: 1) Delivery: Order came in on time and the product was neatly packaged with no weird warehouse smell; it just smelled like it was new, which is good. 2) Visual inspection: The pattern is a nice print with vibrant colors, no rips or tears. The belt strap is nicely sewn on the back by a secured rectangular portion, which was a huge selling point for me because I hate when those straps get all wonky and lopsided and wrapped around laundry. It really almost looks like a dress, so you don't have to be embarrassed if you run to the mailbox or pop out on a balcony or porch in it. The robe is that bouncy, stretchy fabric material, so it's lightweight and breathable in my opinion. Some reviewers in more tropical climates complained about the material, but I live in Zone 7 in the continental US. It gets pretty humid but only during certain times of year. 3) Try on: I'm 5'5" 118 lbs--I got a Small, and the robe wraps around me really comfortably. The pockets are a nice size and deep enough to comfortably rest my hands up to my wrists. The sleeves are narrow and straight, and they fall to about mid-forearm with the length of the robe falling to about mid-calf. The inside tie comes just beneath my chest, so it can be secured pretty high up on the body. I'm hoping it holds up after washing. All in all, I will be getting every penny's worth out of this purchase as I'm wearing it right now and will only take it off if absolutely necessary. I highly recommend this.

If there is a better robe in this universe I would be shocked. I'm not a robe person because apparently I have never owned a good robe. I needed a robe for a my new place that has no way to put curtains on a door leading out to a bedroom balcony so I felt a little exposed and needed something essentially for before/after a shower or waking up so I wasn't naked in front of the window. I've owned robes but none that I actually wore in really any capacity. I got lofty visions of having this flowy bohemian robe that would solve my balcony door in the bedroom issues and found many that looked like what I envisioned in my mind but they all had tremendous functionality flaws from the hours if not days of info I studied. Reviews, product descriptions etc.. too long, no pockets, no ties, sleeves that get in the way. I came across this robe and kind of resigned myself to buy function over fashion so to speak. I really hit the jackpot. I love everything about this robe. It's soft and silky and light and is flattering and has pockets and sewn on ties and looks like a flowy, bohemian kimono. In my wildest imagination I couldn't have believed I would love it this much. I bought it a week ago and if I'm home I am wearing it and I have never been one to wear robes. I'm not kidding this was a life changing purchase. I bought it a week ago and have not worn pajamas or anything at home since. Now I have to find a way to tear myself out of it to wash it or buy a second one. First Amazon review I have ever written. That's how good this is!

I definitely should have checked to see the length of this robe- longer than I expected, but I kind of like it like that! It’s very soft and cozy. I honestly could stay in it all day if that were an option. For such a light-looking fabric it feels a little heavier than one would expect, but I don’t mind. The fact that the ties are sewn in is fantastic. (I accidentally popped it in the dryer, and the shrinkage was minimal, so. Yay!) I’ll definitely be ordering another.

I love this robe. This is my new go-to wardrobe essential. I'm 5/10, 140 lbs., normally a size 8-10 and I ordered the L. It fit like a glove and that was fine but the belt was a bit high above my waist. I exchanged for an XL which is a better fit. So I would say it runs a bit small. The belt is just a tad above my natural waist but comfortable. I ordered the mix blue and it is lovely. This is a fantastic robe. Sexy, comfy and clingy!

Isn't what I expected, even though read description carefully - HOWEVER, I do like it, & the look is very sharp - is soft & good hem length as well as arm length. Got in animal print. Ordered in medium, tho I wear small, as didn't want it TIGHT - am glad I did & is perfect.

Absolutely beautiful... Finally, a perfect fit !! I am 5'3", 140 lbs. and 38C bust. I like a loose fitting robe and the X-large was perfect. Length was right at the ankle, bust had plenty of room, shoulder fit was fine and sleeve was 3/4 length. It is well made, washes and dries with no problem and the color is beautiful (white/pink flowers). I do wish it had a little loop at the neck for hanging up but other than that, it was perfect. I will be ordering an additional one in another color. I hope this review helps as I always look for reviews with sizes and measurements.

I truly love this robe. I am an Aus size 16 and the 2xl fits me really well. i am only 5ft 1inch and the lenght is just above the ankle. I love that it is quite long as compared to so many of the others on the market. The fabric is a stretch jersy type and drapes on the body well. It doesn't cling just hangs which is more flattering for me. the addition of the sewn in belt at the back is really good too. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

bought this as a lounge dress. not sure I would wear it as a dress. the fabric is really heavy.

The robe is extremely comfortable, but I do have to point out it’s not cotton as suggested, which makes it a little to heavy for Singapore climate 👍🏼I bought XL As I love to wrap up in my robes & it is definitely XL
