French General Labels & Stickers Novelty Book – September 3, 2008

YUMMY and lovely variety of stickers, labels (I use them for canning and DIY personal care products) that really raise my products up a nitch. Mind you, it's only for my own personal use, but why not make my things look beautiful> and they do with these labels. Some are repeats but in different colors, sop actually quite a wide variety of styles and sizes to choose form - all self stick. I find that because they are paper I cover them with plastic clear shipping tape in the bathroom products so as not ot mess up the beautiful labels. Works. Removed one star only for the (too many) stickers which I have no use for. Otherwise I highly recommend this and will buy again.

I love these stickers. I am on my second set now over about 4 years, and purchased a new one not because I ran out, but simply because the variety was dwindling.The booklet contains about 200 stickers of various shapes, sizes and colors. I have used them as seals for notes and letters, labels for jars, bookplates, gift tags...and the list goes on!The booklet looks a little frilly from the outside, but there are some gender neutral labels and there are different levels of fanciness. Color combinations include red and gold, green and pink, pink and blue, etc.I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.The only minor con I've noticed is that the labels are occasionally a bit difficult to unstick, but if you mess one up, there are several duplicates of each specific sticker in the book.Highly recommend!

I love French General. I have al least three other books/products by Kaari Meng and follow her blog. However, this collection does not sing. It seems classic, but unfortunately the colors and styles just fall flat.I also purchased Chronicle Books Botanicals Label and Stickers by Rifle Paper Company (also a favorite artist/designer) and those seem a little better. I found Joie Du Jour box of Labels by Chronicle books and although the designer is new to me, that was my favorite collection of the three.I was so disappointed, I decided to return this set, but although I purchased it on Prime, there seems to be a charge to ship it back, so I guess I will keep it.

I have started to organize my house and I just loved these labels so much I bought another set. I have all my needlework items stored in hundreds of plastic shoe boxes and now they look adorable with these cute little labels on them. I bought another set because they worked so well, and now my niece wants to organize her toys with the pretty stickers. I'm terrible at graphic design. I tried making cute labels on my own with my printer, but I'm just not crafty enough. These are just perfect and color coordinated.

I LOVE to label and these labels are absolutely lovely. I use it in my home office, to label gifts and in the kitchen. The labels vary in size (about 1 1/2" to 3 1/2" for the longer side of the largest rectangle), shape (rectangles, squares, circles) and colors (blue, red, pink green and tan). Although the labels are not as thick as I would like, they are thicker than some of the other labels I have purchased off of Amazon.

These are really cute stickers, but keep in mind that they are a matte finish and not glossy. I bought them to use as labels on glass jars for jams and nut butters and such. While they look adorable, they do need a hot water soak to come off before putting the jars in the dishwasher. If they peeled off a little easier I would have given them 5 stars, but if you are looking for a more permanent stick then these may be perfect for you.

I will order these again and again when I get low on them. These are such pretty stickers! I got them to organise my craft/quiet room, and I didn't want a label that looks like a shiny sticker. They stick great, can be removed to reposition if you need to do so soon after applying, and they have a matte finish! Like I said, I love them and will buy them again and again!!!

I really like these labels! The designs are very lovely in many different shapes, sizes and colors. The finish is flat which is fine for me. They will be great for either organizing craft supplies or gifts. There are several of each design so one can mix or match. I'm sure I will enjoy using these!!

If you like the look of the cover of this book you'll love these labels. I also have the writing paper, which is SOOO BEAUTIFULL. They look almost vintage, and some people don't seem to understand the old fashioned elegance of this brand. Though the subtle off white colours and understated colour schemes is what makes this product so much better than the kath kidson version (which I also have). If you love the over-the-top vibrant colours and clashing patterns of kath kidson products and can't apreciate subtle elegance then your on the wrong page. Though this brand of stationary is the sort that takes my breath away with its beauty. (I know this is weird).These labels have a few varied designs though many are offered in different colour tones for those moments when you think "OH! That patterns perfect but not in that colour". As well as having doubles at the back. So if your like me in the way you worry if you use your favorite one then a perfect oportunity to use it will come up later. Then your in luck, there's 2.I hope this helps

This is a beautiful book of stickers. They arranged in sets of different colourways (e.g. blue/gold, pink/olive, burgundy/gold); all beautiful and muted. The surface of the stickers is like normal paper, i.e. easy to write on. Most of the stickers have a space on for writing; a few of the smaller ones are completely patterned - useful as seals. I use them for labelling jam, etc, in the kitchen; plus gift wrapping. Extremely useful.

These labels are gorgeous, mat finish so easy to write on, lovely selection. I would definitely buy again.

Great labels. I've used them for jars of homemade things and on envelopes. A lovely mix of designs. Recommended.

These stickers are lovely, they are great for decorating things like revision notes or just putting reminders to do something on pieces of work etc. They can also be used as nice gift labels or food labels if you make your own jams/other jars of food etc. I would recommend to anybody who wants to add a little bit of luxury into their stationery for minimal cost!
