Easy to use

This is not exactly the kind of foam I expected. I was trying to get that hard Styrofoam type of foam for a cemetery vase. This foam is one of those soft kind that absorbs water. It’s the kind that a lot of florist use in flower arrangements because it absorbs the water and the stems are usually inside this foam. I did like that It is easy to cut and more shapeable than the foam that I was trying to get. We were able to use one of these and then cut up another one to make the vase full. We put some rock on top. I will need to see how this set up lasts outside with rain/wind and such. Hopefully it will stay in place and not completely break down overtime to cause the flowers to fall out. They do throw away the cemetery flowers every six months. So maybe they will last long enough for the season. If I use real flowers, I know that this would be a good material to keep the stems moist.

I ordered these floral foam cones to go with the Evelots Cemetery Vases that I had previously purchased, as the vases did not come with foam inserts. They were a perfect fit and also the 12 count matches the pack of 12 vases I purchased. I also found that they were the right size for family graves that have the older, larger vases. Thinking they will need to be changed frequently but hoping they hold up through the summer months. Depending on how long they last, I will decide whether or not to purchase again.

Even though they were pictured with outdoor cemetery vases, they aren't a good fit. I should have looked at it more closely as the description suggested, but (my bad) I didn't and now regret it.

What can I say. Wish I did not need them, but I do need them to put flowers in the holders on the sides if my son's grave. They are hard to find so it is good to get them.
