Exactly as described
These are well made and function as expected…the o-rings provide a good amount of friction to keep them from coming loose…too short to use if you have a STA with the wing and backplate

What you need
These are cheaper than any other backplate nuts I’ve found including Diverite. Be aware that they will corrode lightly even if washed. I doubt with the price that they’re marine grade 316 stainless steel. They show corrosion after a month of passively diving (~6 dives). I’m not convinced that any other brand wouldn’t corrode either. Just clean them with a rust removal solution and you’ll be fine. Also, if you’re worried about them coming unscrewed or loosening, put Teflon tape on the threaded end when installing and it should hold in place.

Nicer than wingnuts
I used these on my backplate as designed. They worked well and look like new after a week of diving. One warning: check these for tightness fairly regularly. No normal screwdriver is big enough to span the gap on the "nut" side of the fastener, and these were getting pretty loose by the end of the week. Everything worked fine, but a part would have eventually fallen off.I have now cranked them down with a wider tool not really meant for the job, so maybe they'll be more secure.

Great value for the quality.
Very heavy duty and durable feeling, the machining is top notch. There's nothing negative to say about them. I would definitely buy them again.

Corroded after 2 dives
Doubt these are stainless steel as they corroded after 2 salt water dives. In fact they were so corroded that I had a difficult time removing them and they stained my SS backplate. After each dive, they were rinsed and soaked in fresh water. Disappointed.
