I need a 1 inch or 1 1/4 inch width? What size width is this belt to fit through the belt loops?

This belt is 1 1/4" wide, and 41" long.

I ordered it as a replacement & the design is red not white. Is this a new design & is the youth belt the same way?

I would think so. My son is 13, tall for age, 117lbs, and he wears this on the tightest hole. If he needed it tighter, he could slide the adjustable slider on the elastic part. And he could could gain 3-4 inches in the waist and have it fit.
