Don't get fooled into buying cheap rod socks that claim one size fits all. At Midwest Outfitters our gear is made for fisherman by fisherman. Our design team actually uses our fishing rod sleeves in our boats and in our trucks. They have specifically designed them to work for specific fishing rod sizes and eyelets. We trust our rod sleeves to protect our expensive fishing gear and so should you. Our spinning and baitcaster sleeves are 67 inches long and best fit 6'6" to 7'2" rods while our Spincast/Lightweight sleeves are 60" long and best suited for smaller rods. Each size has a different width and are either made larger to fit over spinning rod eyelets or smaller for baitcaster rods. Well thought out and made with high quality polyester fibers ensure that your expensive rods will store safely in your truck, boat, garage or basement. In addition to quality build our design features:1. An elastic loop that attaches to your reel handle that keeps the rod sock from being blown off.2. A loop on the top for easy hanging and storage.3. The bottom edge and opening rolls outward instead of inward like many other designs which keeps the bottom from getting hung up and bending your eyelets during removal.4. Machine stitching keeps the top seam tight and your rod tip safe5. Easily rolls up and stores. Use the elastic band to keep it rolled up tight.6. Custom sizing. Our rod socks are made to properly fit different types of rods, spinning, baitcaster and lightweight/youth rods. One size does NOT fit all. Get a good fit, Get some Midwest Outfitters rod socks!

Protection you can trust
Ever since high school, I have always been very careful about wrapping up my rod. You never know what you can pick up or tangle yourself on. A man's pole is very important, and should be safeguarded from any and all dangers it might encounter. This sleeve is fantastic protection for my rod, and I'm sure it will be for yours as well. Color option looks fantastic wrapped tightly around my similarly color-schemed pole. Always practice safe fishing rod transportation with these wonderful sleeves.

For protection for your beloved fishing rods you will not do better than this! look no further! if you do your wasting your time! UPDATE! I like them so much I ordered 2 more and only recieved one! The bag was ripped open and one was removed! I changed my review to 2 stars! Another update! Lol.... customer service is so good I updated my updated review. Every sword should have a sheath.
It seems most of the abuse my fishing rods receive is during transport. Either the lines get tangled or the guides on the rod can get damaged. The Midwest sleeves are some of the best I have found. I fish with 6'6" fishing rods, and the length of the sleeve is perfect for protecting the rod and covering any lure that attaches to the rod's hook keeper. I have one on a 7' fishing rod and it does a fine job protecting the rod but it does have a tendency to flex the tip if its under any tension. The Midwest Sleeves have a looser fit then some of the other rod sleeves on the market. I find the looser fit ideal for putting on and taking off the sleeve quickly.

Great product
I purchased 10 of the 2 packs of Midwest sleeves to try out. They worked great, they fit my 71/2' rods with ease. The weave of the material is close enough the eyes on the rods do not poke thru but loose enough to remove a hook with ease. Many of the sleeves I have tried in the past let the eyes poke thru the material which really did not protect the rods, or were very difficult to remove a hook from. I really like the elastic strap at the bottom that goes around the reel handle to keep the sleeves from slipping off. Not very many sleeves have that feature. The Midwest sleeves also have a loop at the top for hanging the rods for vertical storage. I normally rig all of the rods that I think I will need during the first day of a tournament, a few of these rods are returned to my rod locker with the Midwest sleeves installed along with my unrigged rods with Midwest sleeves installed. I normally carry 20 rods in the boat and another 20 in the van. I just ordered 20 more 2 packs this will cover all of the rods I carry with me plus the ones I have at home.

It’s just OK. Nothing great.
I bought 2 of these. One for a Dobyns DX 702SF (7’) and one for a Shimano Crucial (7’ after broken tip repair). I deducted 2 stars since the tip of the rod will poke through without modification. The pic below is of the Dobyns with the modification. Very easy to do and is acceptable now. In the future I will buy a Lews since I have had better luck with the Lews sock on my Dobyns with a baitcaster.

Just wow...
First of all, these are great quality sleeves esp for the price. My review is also based on 2Fold Supply the seller. When I received a follow up email asking how the products were working for me, I mentioned what I perceived as a minor issue. The same day a representative got back to me requesting some info. After a minor email exchange, I was fully taken care of. Truly customer service at its best. I will never hesitate to recommend 2Fold Supply. Thank you Jake.

Offers great protection
They could make the rod tip end more to a point with some hard plastic coverage for tip protection, but for the main application of storage and protecting against lines tangling, I give the product am A+.Affordable and nice design. I went with these solely because of the strap it the bottom to wrap on the reel. I had another brand that claimed it wouldn't work it's way of the rod, but it always did. With the design of theses, they stay snug on my rods.I have these on 7' and 7'6" rods and they fit perfectly

Excellent WITHOUT Hooks
I have 7'0" rods with a 7' ceiling. I've destroyed the tip on a rod because of accidentally dragging it across the ceiling repeated times. I try to be good with keeping it away but it just happens over and over. This protects it from scraping the ceiling and then protects my rods. My rods no longer get tangled during travel either which is a bonus. They easily slide on and off so I can't complain about anything. Oh, there is one thing...My only issue I have with this is that the sleeve is that it comes all the way down to the hook stay on the baitcaster by the reel. If I have any sort of hook on it, the sleeve ends up covering it and the hooks will go through the sleeve.
