I love the picture; the puzzle, not so much.
"Cinderella" has long been a childhood favorite, and combined with snow/Christmas? What could be better?! Turns out, in the world of jigsaw puzzles, a lot.My biggest issue was that the pieces simply were loose. You know, a snug fitting puzzle is great--not so tight that you have to mash pieces in, but nothing is swimming around either. This puzzle was awful. I was constantly having to reconnect pieces. When I auditioned pieces that weren't correct, they'd pull away whole sections. Forget assembling something and moving it. My table was smooth and flat, so it wasn't my surface. I considered quitting--something I'm loathe to do--because it was so frustrating, the opposite of fun.The puzzle poster is the same size as their 500 or 750 posters. But in my opinion, considering the piece count here was 1,000, it wasn't big enough. With this many pieces, it was hard to see details. (I don't have eye problems.) Also, the textures weren't really visible in the poster, so it wasn't much good as a reference. The colors were a bit off, image vs. pieces.Concerning the quality, the pieces were thick enough, not peeling. And the amount of dust? I brushed it off a half dozen times while sorting, but it wasn't an issue. All the pieces were there. The box is sturdy and the poster was . . . well, present.I bought this for myself in the summer of 2023, anticipating the perfect time to put it together. During the New Year of 2025, my expectations were sadly unmet. I did finish it, but with a 'this won't beat me' mentality.I consider myself a connoisseur of Disney Dreams puzzles. Mostly with the 500 count, which are pure fun, but 750 is good too. Simply because of how big they are (space needed), I'm not gonna pick a 1,000 piece unless I love it. And while I think "Cinderella Bringing Home the Tree" is beautiful artwork, Ceaco could've done much better converting it to puzzle form.
