You would not be able to charge using 220v. It is also not recommended by the manufacturer DEWALT to use a transformer or an adapter to force the charger to work at a 220v outlet.

Solid tool great to have for a lot of stuff

The only impact you need. Technically you dont NEED it but it makes bolts especially car bolts easier and faster to work on. The selectable torque is amazing and the tool feels solid. Its bulky though not gonna fit this in super tight spaces. Love that it came with a battery and charger. Separately all this stuff is expensive

Dewalt made a great 1/2 drive with the XR, can give any bolts the turn, Rusty, Extra tight, Just a real treat to use on stubborn bolts, Glade I own something strong enough to get all my bolts off without the stress. Absolutely love this impact wrench. We travel around and have made use of this wrench many times. Battery lasts for many weeks and pull it out and this impact wrench works. A little heavy to maneuver under cars but well worth the money.

Super impressive tool

Super impressive tool. This is my second impact driver as the 1st one was lent to a friend and never found its way back. I have used it on several projects but mainly to install my 5th wheel plate in and out of my truck, change tires on my vehicles and RV. I have a full line of Dewalt 20 volt tools. This fits right in with the 20v platform. The tool is heavy and well built. It will eat through batteries with heavy use, so have an extra battery on hand. I would recommend to any home owner that already has Dewalt 20v tools and is a DIY type person.
