Very sharp machete

Cut myself twice the day I got it, once removing the plastic, once removing the oil on the blade. My carelessness. Tried it on paper, went through it like something on a TV commercial. Guard is a little loose, blade may not hold this razor edge, but great value for a nice looking yard machete/conversation piece.

very sharp and cuts well for the price. weightis well balanced and gives great satisfaction when cutting. Only note, not to be used for hard wood or other hard surfaces. cutting down boxes or thin shrub is no sweat.

I enjoy that this blade focuses more on the practical aspects of a blade rather than those more associated with aesthetics.The blade of this sword is sharp and feels sturdy straight out of the box. Then, after utilizing said blade on said box, I am pleased to report that there a virtually no flaws in the blade's construction. I assume the primary use would be against softer targets and not, say, something resembling a thick branch of a tree.The handle appears to be full tang, as repeated knocks elicited no sounds of rattling. Very pleased with this aspect as well.The only real issue I have with this piece is the overall construction of the sheath. I just don't think using a zipper and having no belt loop on the sheath would allow for much tactical application of the blade.In summary, this is a stellar sword for a more than fair price and I am proud to add it to my collection.

Most places that deal in swords would markup a fortune for something as good quality as this. Real sharp straight out of the box, good weight and feels good in your hand.
