Yes. As long as it isn't in the description, you can use them in enclosed.

Q: What are these called Soft White? They give warm yellow light.

If you want to select a bulb for the “color” that you want, look at the Kelvin rating. These are 2700K (soft white); if you want a blue/“daylight” then you need to go to a higher K value (closer to 10,000K). And thus, in between will be another type of white.
