I didn't expect this to fit given the other reviews. So I am happy there are reviews! I bought a size too large for my height, too small for my weight, and the fit is just right even after washing. The label states 55% Cotton, 45% Polyester. So the shrink is minimal and I hope the bottoms will absorb sweat.I did find that hair and lint cling to these really well! Even coming out of the dryer they had balls of animal hair all over them. I do have cats, a dog, horses, birds, fish, etc. I love animals and no my house is not covered in hair because I do clean! Still, expect hair and lint of any kind to attach to these bottoms. The hair and lint does come off with a brush easily.I would purchase again, but I would look for all cotton bottoms first.

These are great pants and fit as expected and seem to be a similar fit to other karate pants we've used in the past 5+ years. They have held up well and no fading, as we take 3-4 classes a week and are washed after each use. My son will outgrow these before they wear out (and his younger brother will be able to wear them!). Will purchase again for any of us as needed!

Size 5 fits good @ 5' 9" , a size 4 is okay to for me too. It attracts some lint but some of those other brands are much worse. I like these.

I use these for karate. They fit snugger through the thighs than another brand I wear in the same size, but are adequate. I haven't washed them yet. I am not fond of the shinier material and am hopeful some of the shine will go away when washed a few times.

Fit perfectly fine. Went by weight. My son is 11 and weighs 92 pounds. He is slim and has long legs. The pants still have room for him to grow into.

Bought these pants in an emergency due to my son busting the behind out of his other ones. I bought the same size as his old pants and though they fit fine in the waist, they are a bit long and fall under his feet. That’s okay though, he’ll grow into them.

Some reviewers said they are thin. They arent to me. The quality seems decent. I saved alot of money rather than buying them from his Taekwondo school. Hopefully they wont notice. Lol my 9 yr old son is medium/ slim build and on the slightly shorter side. I bought him a size 2 which was way too big so I exchanged for a size 1. They fit better and he has room to grow. They seem to be made a lil baggy in the lower tummy area.

These pants are almost perfect. I just wish they made a version with a pocket - I would pay extra for that!

My 9 year old does martial arts and needed extra pants so I got these. They fit him well and allow him to perfect his technique. No complaints, good value!

Nothing ever fits perfectly when you're 6'2''.

The crotch area is long. Everything else fits like a normal 5.

These pants are supposed to fit someone who's 5'9" to 6'3" according to the description. Unfortunately, they are somewhat oddly shaped. I didn't really know how to score the size, because they are definitely WIDE enough for someone that height, but they are not long enough! My son is a slim 5'9", and these pants are super baggy in the hips/butt/crotch -- but waaay too short. They are well above his ankles. I had to return them, since he won't wear something so short. The material seemed nice, though!
