Good to use individually
They work very well for their purpose if you use each section independently....One major downside to this item is they don't have any way to connect or chain the aluminum together. Unless there's a specific piece of bracket hardware somewhere thats for this. I wanted to have three of these together for a single 9ft LED strip, but without the ability to secure the sections firmly together, you have to plan to use them separately. Also the plastic shield can be a finger wrecker to pop into the slot along the entire length.. (it won't slide in from the end, I tried both sides on all of them and it wouldn't slide in more than a couple inches). It won't accidentally pop off or get knocked out once its in though thats for sure! The shield is crystal clear so it does not diffuse the light (which I wanted).Quality product, could use a little design tweaking and itd be even better!

No interlocking , clips aren't sturdy. Soft Screws
Not the best aluminum chanel channel if you need to align more than one. Should have been interlocking at end . Clips don't hold well and the clear plastic cover is very difficult to assemble. Especially when channel aren't exactly lineup and hard to go over clips. Screws brake easily. I would purchase different brand next time.

Very nice product.
Installed on pontoon rails. Look great. Easy to install. Used a piece of automotive double sided trim tape to help insure attachement. Very nice product.

Beware of assembly
I wanted to replace some under the cabinet lights that went out. They were not hung well, and I was looking for something that would be more neat and tidy, but would also stand up to being in the kitchen with steam from the stove, etc. I thought this was a great option, but I am now convinced this is one of the worst, most frustrating purchases I have ever made. The clear plastic cover has two slight edges that are supposed to fit into two small channels on the metal bracket. I have now spent two days trying to "slide" the plastic cover into the bracket. Once you get it about six inches down the bracket, it will not slide any further, no matter what you do. I then tried inserting one side and trying to "pop" the other side in. What I ended up with was cramps in my hands and a still useless bracket. With my LED light strip already installed on the bracket, if I can't make this work, I am also looking at losing one half of my light strip and having to start over from the beginning. There are no instructions, no tips and tricks, no help at all if there is some kind of trick to inserting the plastic cover -- just a waste of time, effort, and money for something that I can't use at this point. Really wish I had looked for something else.
