Sturdy and pretty

Needed something to keep my quilting books and magazines in place. These work great and, to me, they have a tumbling block design. Also, the white goes with my sewing cabinet!

I wanted some white bookends for our white bookcase, and wanted something simple. These fit the bill and I'm very happy with them. They are heavier than I expected, have a clean design that looks great, and seem quite sturdy. Only one of the bookends had felt pads on the bottom to protect surfaces, which I thought was odd. I imagine the intention is that they would be pushed together so that the one with the felt pads slides under the other, but that would really only be in the case of a small grouping of books. I have mine split up on two different shelves, with one end of each row of books pushed against the side of the bookcase, so I needed to add felt to the bottom of the other bookend. They have no problem standing up to a good size row of books. I really like them and think they'd even be a good gift if you know someone who is a big fan of books.

Fine metal bookends, do their job, look great, don’t take up extra space on my shelves.

I like these book ends. I have three pair in white and three pair in black. They look nice, don't take up room on the bookshelf, and hold any size book.
