Nice Pump!
We needed a small pump to pump out excess water in the pool and on the pool cover. This pump is well built and the function of the pump did a great job! It has enough pressure and power to suck the water out.

Its an Ok pump
The pump does work, but it is extremly slow for large volumes of water.

Works great!
Only used 3 times so cannot comment on durability. But I transferred 275 gallons in about 15 mins through a 50' garden hose with no issues. The motor housing got pretty warm, but not overly hot. Make sure to prime it every time you use it or you will burn out the motor. I did end up putting Teflon tape on the primer plug because it dribbled a little bit without it. Though I appreciate that it is metal a steel plug, many of the cheaper pumps have plastic primer plugs that easily strip out. The built in handle is a nice feature. Also the "IN" and "OUT" connections are clearly labeled (embossed on the housing) but are on the back side of the pump, not the front.

Bring your earplugs.
I used it one time it didn't work very well. And it's ridiculously loud, not something I want to listen to.When i'm watering my grass and it doesn'shut off when it builds up pressure. I'm going to look for a different model

Great Value compared to Harbor Freight
Great pump. I have let it run dry for a minute or two and still works. The only thing is I wished it had a better plug for priming. Don't leave full in winter body will crack and leak

What was written showed up
Our corporation has had a bunch of these as we use them for HVAC work. Many of the plumbers and service techs also have bought them for having there own so they have them when needed. These are your typical must be primed pumps so running them without first priming them can be detrimental to the seal. Like anything pay attention to the directions. I have used these many times excellent little units with some words of common sense: #1 drain it when done in cold climates, inlet / outlet are high in the body water stays low so if it freezes it can easily crack the body! #2 when putting the plug back on the primer port quarter turn that’s it! This is NOT a permanent fixture pump, it is a simple transfer pump that has brushes which as stated in the directions “must be checked every 100 hrs of use”. #3 As designed this style pump has been around since as far back as the 1970s to my best memory. We have used these for glycol transfer for boilers , chemical flush for washing out oil deposits etc from new cast iron boilers in schools large buildings etc. They work great as designed if it fails think first: (What did YOU DO?) Harsh chemicals that reacted with seals? Acidic / caustic? Be careful this isn’t for diesel or gasoline!!! Brushes make sparks on the armature!! Excellent pump just wish it was made in the states still like years ago.

Missing impeller replacement, Suction attachment not threaded, hard to use
While the pump itself worked well to transfer water from rain barrels to storage tank, two issues resulted in lower rating. First, the box says that there is an impeller replacement kit provided with the pump. No replacement kit was included. Second, the suction attachment does not have threads to attach a garden hose. It was necessary to remove a fitting and screw the hose into the plastic body of the attachment. The hose attachment is very stiff and even after placing in hot water for a time, it could not be bent 90 degrees so that the suction attachment could be placed horizontally on the bottom of a barrel. The suction attachment needs a threaded 90 degree fitting so that it will be flat on the bottom of a barrel or floor when used from above. The only use for it as is would be to lay in flat on a floor at the same level as the pump. If you're trying to pump out water from a basement for example, that would mean the pump would be in the water. And the attachment is not threaded for a hose connection. The pump has sufficient power to push water through 50' of hose and up about 8' into the storage tank. Pumping approximately 50 gallons took a little more than 10 minutes. An On-Off switch on the pump would make it easier to use. As is, it must be plugged/unplugged to run/stop.
