It does work, but not with Netflix. Sure, you can download the app, but Netflix says "sorry, I'm not going to work with that." You can't scroll through the content. Basically all you can do is see you have an account. And if you accidentally hit escape? You have to reboot the darn thing. I have used Android TV boxes for years. This one is the worst I have ever used. Of course the return window closed before I found out how bad it was. That my fault. But trust me, don't buy this garbage.

Good for the price but definitely not top of the line. The remote it came with doesn't feel smooth or interact properly. The Android version thats on the box is very basic and doesn't let you control much. It has a couple general apps standard out of the box but nothing worth any praise. I have had this thing for a couple months and use it casually but I'm currently browsing for a better device to replace this already. It runs. Few apps ok but definitely has had some unresponsive days and times I've had to just power cycle it under normal use. I only have maybe half of the storage used and I constantly am scratching my head wondering why it's lagging so much. I constantly have to go into the apps, find out if anything is jamming up the processor and "force stop" anything that I'm not using to try for performance improvements. It has gotten so bad playing a basic android game on it that I even had to shuffle around my network equipment to try And hard-line this thing hoping for the lagging and delays to stop. My network runs on a 1Gb fiber ISP (Google Fiber) with a full mesh of coverage that doesn't ever get close to having too much congestion, so as much as I'd like to think something else is to blame for this device having suck ass performance more often than not, it's 100% this box to blame for performance issues and struggling to do even the basic tasks. So if you are really looking for something to let you down and blink colorful LEDs by your TV, go ahead and hit purchase, but if you actually want to stream media, you may want to spend the extra $20 and get something better.

It worked great for 1 year and 5 months. One morning it just stayed in Boot. I tried to reboot it and plug-unplugged multiple times and no luck.

Having purchased older versions of these in the past, I expected a high quality unit. At first I thought I had one, then I tried to load an app from the appstore. It immediately crashes the app. No amount of side-loading or older app version can change it. It is a major vpn provider, there is absolutely no excuse. Then I found it almost impossible to get any major browser app to load on it. Firefox, chrome, brave, etc. are like navigating a maze. There is no root explorer app. I didn't bother to reach out as I managed to work around it and the picture is great, but this is the worst T95Z I've seen.4 stars if you just want a very simple, passable box. 2 if you want any control or usability beyond the basic. I expected better from this seller and product. Sent two I'd ordered while I thought it was decent back. My living room and guest room deserve better.
