Ahutoru WiFi Range Extender / Wi-Fi Signal Repeater / Wireless Signal Booster / Wi Fi Access Point with 2 Ethernet Ports (black)

Recently I moved into a camper in the backyard of my mother-in-law's house. I run a business online and do a lot of research, so I needed this in order to run my office. At 75-100ft away from the house, the WiFi Repeater Mode is able to supply an average of 3 bars at 11-17MB/s to 2 devices at a time with stable bandwidth. I was able to connect up to 4 with limited bandwidth for all the devices connected. During times of heavy usage I'm having to use my phone's limited data hotspot, but it's to be expected. The Ahutoru Wi-Fi Range Extender does exactly as advertised, but be aware that this doesn't stand up to a more powerful solution like a dedicated router or powerline adapter. This device does, however, produce a strong full bar signal throughout the house and majority of the outside at 50ft away. The signal dips down to 2-3 bars at 100-150ft in open space and 1-2 bars up to 150-200ft away. I experienced stable signal at 250-300ft with only 1 device connected and no obstructions. The only issue I've experienced with this device is connection issue on a PS4 at 75-100ft away. Gaming systems require a more defined connection when it comes to gameplay, and streaming, although I've little to no issues on Netflix after a successful connection. Hope this helps.

I bought this extender strictly because of the great reviews. I’m no stranger to technology either, so it’s not like I’m doing this wrong.First off, Nicolas Cage in National Treasure couldn’t figure out these instructions. This looks like some stuff Indiana Jones got off of that shield in Last Crusade.Secondly, I got to the login page ONCE, and was able to log in. After that, nothing worked. Nothing in the IP address page worked when I clicked on it. I attempted to set this up on a Windows based laptop AND a Linux based laptop. Linux wouldn’t even get me as far as the Admin login page, and don’t even get me started on “Just press the reset button for 10 seconds, then try again.”I don’t know what product these people that had this thing “set up in minutes” received, but it wasn’t this alien technology with hieroglyphics I got. I will be returning this ASAP.

I needed to boost my signal with out going to installing a separate router or power line adapters. This WiFi extender is exactly what I needed. It's easy to setup - took me about 4-5 minutes. Once setup, you connect to it like any other AP in your home. Single strength seems better where I had issues before

It works well as a 2.4ghz extender. If your router is capable of pushing out signals in both the 2.4 and 5ghz range, this will only extend the 2.4ghz band. Setup as a extender is easily accomplished following the included directions

Works great, couldn't get wi-fi in the furthest reaches of my yard area. So installed this device at the other end of the house and no more issues.Well, the device died lasted 1 year. Guess for the price it was worth it

It may be great but with instructions print so little was impossible to understand...

The product was very easy to setup and works as described. We are now able to get a strong WiFi signal throughout the whole house.
