Works for 26" bike for pre-teen, first use of day a bit tight
I have a kid that's getting into Mountain Biking, and put it on a 26" XXS Specialized RockHopper.Installation went as well as could be expected. Two main issues:- On the XXS RockHopper, it has a front derailleur, so finding a good spot for the lever took a bit of trial- The seat hydraulics get stuck the first time of the day, so getting it to extend the first time took some trial. Basically, I put a skinny screwdriver through the lever so I could pull it with my right hand, held the shaft with left hand, and held the other end between my feet and tried pushing/pulling until it unlocked. The provided cable was plenty big enough (I cut off over a foot). The lever hardware seems pretty great, and I didn't feel like I was going to strip any screws or break anything. Adjusting the tightness of the cable went really well due to the two adjustment screws (plenty of tightening room). The kid isn't very strong in the thumbs yet, so the first ride of the day he has to use two hands to "unlock" the stuck piston. After that it is incredibly smooth going up and down, and his left thumb is able to push it in okay enough (it's still tough, but it'll get easier as muscles grow). Again, the seat post does seem to get 'stuck' after sitting there for a day, but then goes super smooth the rest of the day.I'm happy with the post and the installation. It seems like good quality for the price I paid. It definitely isn't as good as the one on my own bike (mine has no 'stuck' issue after prolonged periods of inactivity), but good enough for this starter bike or anyone on a budget that wants a post that will last. I'll update this if I ever hit issues.

Great post for the budget minded. Highly recommend.
This dropper functions as described. Six month test has gone well as I ride mainly blue trails with the occasional black 2-3 times a week. Only thing to note is I have to slightly stand and relieve tension from post in order for it to drop easier, ie: slightly stand, engage thumb trigger, sit on post to drop. Great post for the budget minded. Highly recommend. Hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Decent budget dropper
I ordered the 36.1/125mm dropper. It's a direct fitment on my bike. However the installation instructions are difficult to follow. You are much better off finding a video on YouTube - specifically when it comes to getting the right guide cable length. If I followed the recommended instruction for measuring cable length I would have had too much slack inside my frame. The grip mounted control lever seems to be cheaply cast, there are better ones out there. Out of the box, the post is a bit sticky.. you have to cycle it up and down a few times before the seal works free. I also noticed a little bit of slop in the tube, even after everything is clamped down; the riser tube has a bit of play.

Very disappointed from the get go...
Purchased this item back in July for the Ozark Trail Ridge Pro Max build from Berm Peak on youtube. Was hoping it would be a quality product and even looked past a few things but after today I can no longer be optimistic. First day installing on the bike the actuator lever system was not hold a firm clamp of the dropper cable and after a few attempts to correct the issue the threads stripped out. Luckily I was working on this bike with a buddy who runs bike shop and was able to pick up a Wolf Tooth lever system. ($60). Once new lever system was installed dropper post worked pretty decent other then being fairly stiff. I noticed a few weeks after installation the post would stick in the lowered position. This bike is a spare I built for fun so it has VERY LITTLE USE. Well today Oct. 20th 2024 I decided not to ride my Norco and take the old Ozark for a roll through the neighborhood and BAM seat dropper stuck in lower position and once it popped up the seat wont lock in any lowered position now. So it moves up and down with you as you move on the bike, if you sit it smashed how into the lowered position... If you try and dismount you can't keep the seat lowered for a safe dismount, this can be very dangerous if I don't replace or fix this system. Its a shame with the $60-$70 I had to spend on the Wolf Tooth actuator lever and perch - add that to the original cost of this seat dropper I could have purchased an E-Thirteen or a RaceFace... Not a happy camper. If someone knows how to contact this seller please let me know. Thank you

Quality for a good price
I ordered the 150mm travel post and I can't be more happy with it for the price. Install is relatively straight forward if you're a slightly handy individual. This was my first time installing a dropper and it went smoother than I expected. The post survived some gnarly riding in the hawaiian jungle on a hardtail and that's saying something. If you install the seat and it's not staying up when you sit on it, it's likely that there's too much tension on the cable. Takes a little tinkering to get the tensioning right but once you get it the post is solid.

Works Flawlessly!
Just got one and it was missing parts. I reached out ant they are taking care of it. Customer support is on point! I have bought 3 of them for 3 different mtb and they work flawless. I do recommend this product.

Technically it works.
Bought this for my wife's bike. It's too stiff to be much use for her. The lever is a hard push and flexes too much for it to work quicklly or reliably. Better options out there.
