LeChat Perfect Match Gel Polish, Butterflies, 0.5 Fl Oz (PMS48)

This is one of my favorite colors. I use this as a base coat for my nails alone with a soft pink.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using this brand and color for 3 years straight with a few color changes here and there for certain events that call for something more subtle, but this is absolutely my favorite thing ever. Some people have a signature scent or style; I have a signature nail and this is it!!! It is a gel polish that comes with a regular polish, for what is typically the price of one polish. The gel lasts for weeks, and would last longer if I let it grow all the way out. I am a trucker, so I can be hard on my nails, but I feel like this adds a little layer of protection, and it makes me feel pretty, even when the rest of me is looking rough.

I bought this having no idea what it even meant till a bad mani left me with 3 broken natural nails on the right hand. So voila I did gel on tips on the right then enamel on my natural nails on the left.I will say the gel peeled off my natural nails quickly but many brands of all kinds of polish do that on me. Right hand has on the tips and gel polish. Ignore the bad polishing. That's all me. My hands are under the MelodySusie Flash cure lamp. Great bright work light if you need one. I used Hue Nails Quick Dry Top coat For Men. It's fantastic. Why men need better polish and better lids (says Hue) I don't know.

Paloma is the perfect sheer nude pink. I love it on its own for a simple and clean nail, but it also works great as a base color when doing French tip. Lots of reviews saying they had to do too many coats to not see streaks that it became too thick, but if you do light coats and cure in between they’ll turn out perfect. Of course, it may not be full coverage, because it’s a SHEER color..but it’s buildable. Also saw reviews that it doesn’t cure all the way and stays sticky…use a top coat, like you should with all gel polish, otherwise yes it’ll stay sticky. I’ll repurchase this color till the day I die!

I have a lot of different topcoats, many from Korean nail brands. This is still my absolute top favorite. It's definitely not one for bulk though (that's where I'd get the Korean ones). It's more for a thin, super shiny coat that won't dull or scratch or anything (so I usually do the nonwipe thick ones and this on top). But be aware that it runs like crazy cause it's so thin. And you need to wipe it with alcohol. Also, this time around it came leaking slightly right out of the package which is really annoying and disappointing.

I love this product! Unfortunately, I ordered strawberry mousse, which is a hot pink and a pale yellow. I am unable to return.
