Denmark Wood Lye – Scandinavian Light Wood Stain for Whitewashing & Driftwood Effect – White, 2.5L – Reduces Yellowing on Indoor Wood

I used this product to take out the yellow in my yellow pine ship-lap wall siding. It is easy to brush on and cleans up with water. It has made a huge difference in how the pine has aged. It is not nearly as yellow as another wall section I haven’t used the woca on yet. With the woca, the pine more nearly matches or blends with my maple kitchen cabinets. I just bought three more bottles to use on ship lap elsewhere in our home. The woca leaves a matte finish that looks good all by itself and doesn’t need to be sealed. But it also can be painted over. The woca gives the pine a more neutrally covered base so that paint, whether diluted with water or full strength, looks more like the paint sample I picked out. If you like the yellow in yellow pine don’t waste your money getting woca. But if you want to control yellowing as much as possible, this is a great product.

These really lighten up my floors. It worked great!

My mill floors were orange, black and amber. I tried white wash, grey stain, and this was the best looking and most even. Its not a miracle but I do like it.

This was really easy to use. After sanding the floors, and then applying Woca Lye, we got our red oak wood floors to look white oak color. We finished the floors with Minwax Ultimate Floor Finish in Satin. We love the results!

Does what it says it does. I sanded my 110 year old doug fir with 60 grit (it had turned VERY orange with old age) and two coats of woca white lightened it up to a gorgeous color. I finished with two coats of Fidde's white floor oil and it's like I have brand new floors

I have been using this product for decades (originally under the brand Trip-Trap). Best floor lye I have used. Gives that whitened drift wood effect. Very easy to use and very to apply. I have always followed up with their natural white soap for protection and monthly floor washing.

Wir haben mit der Lauge im Frühjahr unseren Holztisch im Garten behandelt. Der Tisch ist nun total robust. Schmutz bleibt nicht mehr haften und wenn beispielsweise ein Glas mit Flüssigkeit umkippt, perlt diese einfach ab. Der Tisch sieht aus wie neu dadurch.
