What a voice and career!
Remembering Joe Cocker from his earlier days, it was a delight to find this update with his song interpretations. Really enjoy listening.

Remarkable
There were songs on this album that took me back. Woman to woman is where they got the music to California Love. Hits from the past are hits of the future.

Great!
Present for my mom, it has great clarity and sound quality and she loves it. Only thing was that the app packaging label sticker was right over his face. Took forever to get it off without ripping any of the cover off. Other than that minor annoyance it’s great

Pretty solid vinyl with minor flaws
Really clean and flat discs, some unfortunate surface noise is at random spots as are some pops. Discs are 100% scuff free and track well. Weird timing thing goes on toward the end of track two on disc one side one. It's like 250ms of the track didn't get cut and is just insta-advanced. Nothing on its own would have bumped it down from five stars but all of it together kept it from the highest mark.A really nice sounding compilation. Recommended.

A must-buy. I'm now buying his entire back catalogue having heard this!
If you thought Joe Cocker was "with a little help from my friends" and not much else of note, this will open your eyes as it did mine. A truly superb double album stretching from the afore-mentioned Beatles song to material from his final album "Fire it Up". That song alone is worth buying the album for, what a pity he passed away not long after. I'm now planning on getting his entire back catalogue on the strength of this double album. Excellent. Buy this, you won't regret it.

Joe Cockers greatest hits, Life of a Man
All Joe Cockers hits on this Double Album. Very good and even some live tracks and you can hear the audienceReaction to the sincerity of his interpretation of the Lyrics.Only one disappointment, that is the Most famous ‘With a little help from my friends’ is not the best version I’ve everHeard him do of this songIf you liked Joes interpretation of songs in the 70s 80, and 90,s buy this record you will enjoy it

Fabulous end to end. BUY IT!
I was born and went to school in Crookes, Sheffield. Joe (John actually) who lived around the corner was pretty well known and used to tell us that we would one day see him on TV Top of the Pops one day. He also told us we would buy LPs. I certainly have.He is a choice. This LP is all his best work. So BUY IT!

Great music - poor pressing
Loved Joe’s music for years and was looking forward to getting this on vinyl but unfortunately not what I would expect from a new released 180g quality vinyl. Surface noise and production quality caused by poor pressing techniques has resulted in a very disappointing example of what could have been a great album. Can’t fault the twin cover centre fold, pictures and accompanying little notes from his brother but on reflection a bit disappointed.
