Linocut and Reduction Printmaking: Design and Techniques

I originally found this book in the library. I find a lot of books in the library. In this work session, I was focused on tools needed to plan linocut projects for arts integrated learning experiences for elementary age students. I appreciated the examples given which helped me purchase materials and practice my skills prior to teaching students. I'm happy to have this book in my personal library.

I absolutely love Laura’s art and love printmaking so when I saw this book I had to have it. It is full of great information delivered in an encouraging tone and with wonderful photographs. I’m not a complete novice but I’m not an expert either and in my opinion, this excellent book can help anyone. She goes pretty deeply into tools and materials which is extremely important and useful to know. I don’t think you can go wrong with this book in your art instruction materials.

De tous les livres que j'ai lu sur la linogravure, à mon sens, c'est le meilleur car il répond à toutes les questions et à toutes mes attentes. Tous les aspects du processus son abordés et approfondis, de la viscosité idéale de l'encre, du système de calage et d'enregistrement des épreuves, aux outils et fournitures et comment les ranger ... De très bonnes astuces également.Et puis le travail de Laura Boswell est vraiment très intéressant.Je conseille fortement ce livre.Of all the books I have read on linocutting, in my opinion, this is the best because it answers all the questions and all my expectations. All aspects of the process are covered and in depth, from the ideal viscosity of the ink, the system of setting and registering the proofs, to the tools and supplies and how to store them ... Very good tips too.And then Laura Boswell's work is really very interesting.I highly recommend this book.

The book was perfect! The post was useless.. it was slightly bashed on a corner… not seller’s fault. Neither was the delay on arrival missing sister’s birthday!!! How odd it finally arrived on the deadline of being able to ask for a refund!!!!
