Low opacity and pigment load
Very poor quality paint, low pigment load and opacity for Gouache. Thank goodness I tested and swatched before using as it would have ruined my project. The packaging is lovely and the color range is attractive for the price, but could at best be used for adult coloring books or kids projects. The paint will not give full coverage even with multiple layers are applied and the white in the set is semi translucent so you can’t even bump the opacity of the other pigments with it. These are basically colorful gels that set to a matt finish not pigmented paints. I even tried using them as background tints on the paper and they were streaky and difficult to blend to a smooth finish when using a single color not even a gradient. I feel like I wasted my money unfortunately.
