Not a great case for multiple reasons, also very shady promotion by Maxboost
I would probably stay away from this case for a few reasons:1. the clear plastic back has a rainbow effect in the light that detracts from the beauty of the phone2. it attracts many fingerprints to the point where you cannot see the back of your phone3. the sides of the case are glossy which make looking at your screen annoying when you see the glare coming off the case4. this product has skewed reviews since the company Maxboost was offering Amazon giftcards in exchange for 5 star reviewsThe spigen clear case may be a better choice, I have never had an issue with any of their products

there seems like little protection for the camera
This is a decent case. The phone seems semi-secure but I somewhat doubt if it'll stay in the case if dropped face down. Also, there seems like little protection for the camera. The case does seem to come flush with the camera lens but again, I have some doubt about how it would fare if dropped on it's back. Also, the warranty is basically useless given the terms on the maxboost site. I'd cost more to return/replace than just buying a new one."The original buyer is responsible for all the shipping costs of sending back the Maxboost product. Any customs fees, including, but not limited to, taxes, duties and any other courier related fees, are the responsibility of the buyer."So, one star removed because of protection concerns and another for the fact you have to pay all fees for returning the product unless it is found faulty within 30 days where you "MAY be eligible" be issued a pre-paid return label."If you are within 30 days of the purchase date, you may be eligible for a pre-paid return label to return the faulty product."Update 1/26/16: I’ve dropped my phone face down a couple of times. The case protected it from any damage. Changing to 4 stars.

Uncomfortable to hold
This is a very good case in many ways. It is sturdy, protective, has accurate cut outs, has buttons easy to use, etcProblem is that there is a sharp edge at the bottom, making it uncomfortable to hold. Well “sharp” is probably too strong a word. On the back of the phone the sides of the case are rounded and comfortable, but the top and bottom have a thin, sticking out lip. It’s that lower left corner sticking into the palm of my hand that feels uncomfortable after a while.I tried it for a while thinking it might just take some getting used to. But I’m at the point now where it’s not feeling better and I’d like holding my $1200 phone to feel good. So I’m scrapping this case and have ordered something that’s smoother on the bottom.Folk with tougher skin or who don’t hold the phone for a long length of time will likely not experience this discomfort. I just thought I would post about this as a possible factor to consider, for those who who are interested.

Awesome case
This case is nice well built. I like the transparent at the back it really shows the beauty of the iPhone X. The buttons are very tactile. Over all I would recommend this to a friend

Just the Right Amount of Grippiness
Can't wait to use this case on an iPhone X. The bumper feels perfect to the tough. Just grippy enough that you won't drop it, but not so grippy that you can't get it into your pocket. Cut outs and buttons all look good.

Simple, clean, protective, quality materials. What else do you need when protecting your iPhone X?
I recently had the pleasure of testing the new iPhone X case from Maxboost. They provided me with a unit to test in exchange for my unbiased opinion. There typically isn't much to be excited about with phone cases. That's why this unit gets 4 stars.Having said that, this is a very nice case that does a very good job protecting the iPhone X. The bumper is very effective, and the clear backing provides you with protection for the finish on the back of the phone while still allowing you to see the apple logo and rear of the phone. The quality of the materials is good, and it is comfortable and snug to grip in your hand.Additionally, there is a slight lip on bumpers that allows you to place the front of the phone face down on a table or other surface, and it keeps the glass of your phone from touching where you set it. The case also works well with screen protectors. If you are looking for an affordable iPhone X case that will do the job, look nice, and last you for a while, then this case is for you!

- Best case of multiple I've tried for the new iPhone ...
Pros:- Best case of multiple I've tried for the new iPhone X- Well-built frame that has the GXD protection (has protected my phones from drops the past year with an iPhone 7 case from Maxboost)- Slim design- All ports accessible- New back panel is designed with a new material that seems more fingerprint resistant than previous Maxboost clear cases- Supports wireless chargingCons:- Weird (hardly visible) dot pattern across the clear back of the case. You have to angle the phone under light to see it so it's not a big deal, just weird since past clear Maxboost cases have not had this.

Great Design
Better than most of the lightweight flimsy cases.I think the idea of this case is to create something lightweight and thin while maintaining the aspect of sturdiness and protectiveness of the case. This idea definitely makes the case very appealing to me. Considering most of the lightweight cases are flimsy and have hardly any protection features, this product did a great job combining the two features.I haven't really tested out on how well it protects my phone from the dropping shock. (Of course, I won't do it intentionally, I will leave an update if that happens). But I can see the specifical design of the inner rim can have a potential making a difference at absorbing shocks as compared to a regular clear plastic case.Overall, it is a brilliant combination!
