Cody Austin Beard Oil and Conditioner, Mariner Scent, Made With Organic Oils

Not what I expected. I thought they had achieved a leather scent by mixing different natural smells but no. It smells good (4 star smell) but it has a combination of tea tree and leather perfume. It smells more like pine than tea tree to me. It is good, just not what I expected.

I've had constant problems with my beard being dry and looking scraggly for over 20 years. I constantly combed it and trimmed it and when I needed to look totally presentable I would actually use hair mousse to keep it all in place, until now. Not only does it smell fantastic (though I love Bay Rum scent in general), but it keeps my beard silky, smooth and I really don't have problems with random hairs trying to assert their authority. I'm sold on this stuff for life.[edit] I decided to try the Tobacco scent as I really like the Bay Rum. The Bay Rum is heavy on the clove, but I think it smells great. The Tobacco on the other hand is described in a way that makes me think of pipe tobacco, but it doesn't smell anything like that. The only thing that it smells like is old fashioned spray-on deodorant or dryer sheets. Maybe laundry detergent. Either way, it is really disappointing. I'm not sure if I want to try any other scents or just stick with the Bay Rum that I like so much.

While the packaging and oil quality are fine, the fragrance is nothing that even closely resembles tobacco. Cheap hand soap or car wash product is probably closer to the actual smell

I ordered the Marrakesh scent and was delivered some horrible smelling Bay Rum instead.

Very good...kind of has that headshop/incense vibe to it. It combs through perfectly, not a single snag. Definitely worth a shot. It'll be a repeat buy for me.

While not exactly bad, I wasn't thrilled with this purchase. Perhaps it's my mistake so I won't knock them so let me just let the next guy know what they're getting. This is almost a fragrance free oil. If you expected a nice interesting spice and leather mix look elsewhere. Imagine a fragrance free oil but you rubbed your face in a pleather sofa and got a tiny whiff. It's just all together very underwhelming. Luckily there are times when that is just what I might want, but it's not what I expected.

The tobacco scent is described as having tobacco, black tea, spice, and fruit. I don't really smell tobacco at all but I definitely smell the other scents. That being said, it smells awesome and softens my beard wonderfully. I highly recommend it!

Good stuff, puts much need oil in my beard, and the leather scent is great
