NGT CKR50 Coarse Fishing Reel with 8lb Line, Black

After a couple of uses the bail arm is now starting to rust a wee bit. I have ensured the reel is clean an packed away in the original box post use. The reel is great for LRF type fishing with a light weight rod. Changing the line to braid has worked well. The drag system is very good with the ability to quickly change the drag to different situations. Only one issue when packing the reel away, the reel handle screw does not hold the handle in position and the securing nut falls off. As long as you pack it back in the bag the nut remains with the reel. I would suggest this is a great starter reel and not expensive. Great first reel to see if you want to seriously take up fishing before spending too much on an expensive reel. Very versatile and can be used for drop shot type fishing, spinning, lures and light weight rig fishing.

We had to change the handle as it hit the bail arm when turning. Also this has a large shallow spool

Good little reel for bit of cheap floatfishing

Bought to replace old reel , first impressions it looks good and it comes with line on spool . Not used as yet.

I've fished more with this in comparison with my pro gear. This is a great bargain! Didn't even change the wire. More than enough. I've had this for about a year now. I'd say this is great but if sand and salt gets in it, it affects the performance and gets a bit stuck. I think this is more suitable for River fishing.
