For the price paid this was an excellent purchase. I laid the seed in the height of our recent summer and being the attentive gardener that I clearly am not, continually forgot to water the seed. However, the couple of sprinkles I gave it must have done something as this was sprouting within a week. I now have several areas of healthy grass inter-mixed with the established grass. The only downside is, the new stuff looks so clean and healthy its put the rest of my lawn to shame!

This is a box of seeds for patching up a bare bit of lawn. I always find with grass seeds you go through more of them then it says on the box, but this is probably due to how I spread them. It has clear instructions on how and when to spread them, so it is relatively straightforward to follow. I would just advise care in trying to keep to the spreading level, as it suggest spreading it at a level which I found hard to do by hand.However if there is a small patch that just needs fixing up, this is nice and easy to do.

Wasn't sure if this will work well, but after planting, new shoots started appearing in a matter of days. The new grass is hard wearing and very healthy.

Well what can I say... This seed has taken really well..!However and this is why I have given it two stars...I had prepared the area for this seed and left it as mud for 3-4 weeks before putting any seed down..During that time I was pulling up weeds...Since putting down the seed the grass has taken well, HOWEVER we now have a weed growing which I believe to be horsetail..From everything I've read this is a nightmare to get rid off, so I'm not to impressed as we didn't have it before putting the seed down, so I can only guess this has come from the seed!

The results are slow even after all the terrible weather, with all the rain and spasmodic sunshine I would have expected to see some results before now.

I've got a bit dog who tends to do lawn damage just by running when it's wet. This stuff grows back quick and tough.

I used this in my classroom, grows quickly and is cheap
